Abstract: A video processing system receives primary video capturing movement of a first object, the first object defined in the primary video by multiple contours of the first object. The video processing system receives selection information indicating a contour of interest associated with the first object; the contour of interest may be one of the multiple contours of the first object. Based on the selection information, the video processing system monitors the contour of interest. The video processing system analyzes variations in the monitored contour of interest over multiple frames of the primary video to produce magnified motion associated with the monitored contour of interest of the first object.

Abstract: According to one configuration, a wireless communication system includes antenna hardware, radio communication hardware, and a controller. The controller defines wireless sectors of coverage and configures them dynamically depending on network conditions. The radio communication hardware is coupled to the antenna hardware. The antenna hardware includes multiple antenna elements to wirelessly communicate in a network environment. During operation, the controller generates configuration settings to control a configuration of the radio communication hardware and the antenna hardware. The controller applies the configuration settings to the radio communication hardware to define corresponding wireless coverage provided by one or more software defined sectors in multiple base stations in a network environment. The one or more instantiated base stations (as indicated by the configuration settings) provide multiple communication devices in the network environment access to a remote network such as the Internet.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for providing quasi-licensed spectrum allocation among two or more entities within a prescribed coverage or operational area. In one embodiment, the quasi-licensed spectrum utilizes 3.5 GHz CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) spectrum allocated between two or more Federal or commercial SASs (Spectrum Access Systems), for use by various service provider entities such as a managed content delivery network that includes one or more wireless access nodes (e.g., CBSDs). In one variant, each of two or more SAS entities generate both proposed allocations for themselves and other participating SAS entities with respect to available GAA spectrum, and differences between the proposed allocations are reconciled and condensed using a dynamic, iterative process to converge on a final allocation which fits the available GAA spectrum and which equitably distributes the spectrum between the participating SAS entities.

Abstract: A wireless system as discussed herein includes a mobile communication device. The mobile communication device transmits first wireless communications over a first wireless communication link to a first wireless access point. The mobile communication device receives a notification such as from the first wireless access point. The notification indicates power information associated with the first wireless access point receiving wireless communications from the mobile communication device. The wireless communications over the first wireless communication link are encoded in accordance with a first wireless communication protocol. A connection management resource associated with the mobile communication device controls handoff of the mobile communication device from the first wireless access point to a second wireless access point based on the notification. The second wireless access point supports communication with the mobile communication device via a second wireless communication protocol.

Abstract: According to one configuration, a system includes resources in which to configure a base-band manager, a first virtual radio, a second virtual radio, and a third virtual radio. The first virtual radio is coupled to a first set of antenna elements of antenna hardware, which provide wireless connectivity to first communication devices in a first wireless coverage region. The second virtual radio is coupled to a second set of antenna elements of the antenna hardware, which provide wireless connectivity to second communication devices in a second wireless coverage region. The third radio communication hardware is coupled through a third set of antenna elements of the antenna hardware to a primary backhaul in communication with a remote network. The base-band manager couples the first virtual radio and the second communication resource to the third virtual radio, providing the first communication devices and the second communication devices access to a remote network.
