摘要: Solid extrusion coating compositions for metal substrates, a method of extrusion coating a metal substrate, and a metal article are disclosed. The extrusion coating composition is a thermoplastic material and comprises: (a) a polyester having a weight average molecular weight of about 10,000 to about 50,000, and optionally, (b) a modifying resin, such as an epoxy resin having an epoxy equivalent weight of about 500 to about 15,000. The extrusion coating composition is applied to a metal substrate in an extrusion process to provide a composition film having a thickness of about 1 to about 40 microns.

摘要: Solid extrusion coating compositions for metal substrates, a method of extrusion coating a metal substrate, and a metal article are disclosed. The extrusion coating composition is a thermoplastic material and comprises: (a) a polyester having a weight average molecular weight of 10,000 to 50,000 and optionally, (b) a modifying resin, selected from epoxy resins having an epoxy equivalent weight of 500 to 15,000, acrylic resins or polyolefin resins. The extrusion coating composition is applied to a metal substrate in an extrusion process to provide a composition film having a thickness of about 1 to about 40 microns.

摘要: Powder coating compositions for metal substrates, a method of powder coating a metal substrate, and a metal article are disclosed. The powder coating composition is a thermoplastic material and comprises: (a) a first polyester having a weight average molecular weight of about 10,000 to about 80,000 and a Tg of greater than 45° C. to about 100° C., (b) a second polyester having a weight average molecular weight of about 10,000 to about 70,000 and a Tg of about −10° C. to about 45° C., and optionally, (c) a modifying resin, such as an epoxy resin having an epoxy equivalent weight of about 500 to about 15,000, wherein the Tg of the first and second polyesters differ by about 5° C. to about 60° C. The powder coating composition is applied to a metal substrate to provide a composition film having a thickness of about 1 to about 200 microns.

摘要: A reactor (10) for anaerobic waste water treatment is designed as a loop-type column reactor comprising a central flow channel (20). In the annular space (40) between the central flow channel (20) and the reactor wall, there are positioned carrier elements (50) for immobilizing microorganisms, with flow passages being provided between adjacent carrier elements (50). The lower portion of the reactor (30), below the carrier elements, is designed as a space intended to receive waste water having microorganisms floating therein during operation of the reactor (10). During operation, there are provided both floating microorganisms and microorganisms that are immobilized on the carrier elements. The waste water to be treated flows centrally downward and up again along the carrier elements (40), with the flow being generated in part by the gas development of the microorganisms. The reactor is used to carry out a process for anaerobic waste water treatment, the reactor being suited for waste water treatment in the food processing industry and the feeding stuff industry as well as in the paper industry and the textile industry.
