Abstract: Provided are a battery, a power consumption device, a method for producing a battery, and a device. The battery includes: a plurality of battery cells arranged along a first direction and a thermal management component extending along the first direction and being connected to a first wall of each battery cell among the plurality of battery cells, the thermal management component including a pair of heat conducting plates that are oppositely arranged along a second direction and a flow passage located between the pair of heat conducting plates, the flow passage being configured to accommodate a fluid to adjust temperatures of the battery cell, and the second direction being vertical to the first wall, where in the second direction, a thickness D of the heat conducting plate and a size H of the flow passage satisfy: 0.01≤D/H≤25. Technical solutions of embodiments of the present application could enhance performance of batteries.

Abstract: A battery includes a battery cell having a first wall provided with a pressure relief mechanism configured to be actuated when internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold, a fire-fighting pipeline configured to accommodate a fire-fighting medium and discharge the fire-fighting medium when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, a first fixing member disposed on a side of the fire-fighting pipeline close to the first wall and provided with first and second limiting parts, and a second fixing member disposed on a side of the fire-fighting pipeline away from the first wall and provided with third and fourth limiting parts. The third and first limiting parts match each other to fix the fire-fighting pipeline between the first and second fixing members. The fourth and second limiting parts match each other to limit the second fixing member in an extending direction of the fire-fighting pipeline.

Abstract: A battery module, a device, and a failure handling method for a failed battery cell. The battery module includes: a battery cell arrangement structure, including a plurality of battery cells arranged along a length direction, where the battery cells include electrode terminals, and the battery cells include a failed battery cell; a box body, having an accommodation cavity in which the battery cell arrangement structure is located; a mounting beam, located in the accommodation cavity and at an end of the battery cell arrangement structure along the width direction; a pressing plate; and a conductive component, connected to a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal of the failed battery cell. The conductive component is easily connected to electrode terminals of a failed battery cell, so that a maintenance process can be simplified and maintenance costs can be reduced.

Abstract: A cover assembly includes a cover plate including a gas vent, a gas exhaust valve configured to seal the gas vent and deform in response to an increase in temperature to get out of a state of sealing the gas vent, and a sealing part. The gas exhaust valve includes a metal sheet and a fixing part. The metal sheet seals the gas vent. The sealing part is arranged between the metal sheet and the cover plate for sealing a gap between the metal sheet and the cover plate. The fixing part is connected to the metal sheet. The metal sheet is fixed to the cover plate by the fixing part. The fixing part is configured to deform in response to an increase in temperature in such a manner that the metal sheet gets out of the state of sealing the gas vent.
