The method formatting the image data for a surface of a media sheet in an output device space and including receiving one or more page description files defining one or more objects to be located on the surface of the media sheet, receiving a job ticket defining a layout of the objects on the surface in a sheet-defined space. Prior to ripping, the layout of the objects is transformed into output device space including rotation or translation of the objects. The objects are ripped creating raster data that is oriented in output device space. The raster data is blitted in blocks without shifting the raster data.

    摘要: An automated analyzer for reagent cards having a leading end, a trailing end and a length between the leading end and the trailing end comprises a travel surface assembly having a card travel surface and an edge. A test analyzing mechanism is adjacent to the travel surface, and a waste receptacle is adjacent to the edge below the travel surface. The waste receptacle has a side and a waste cavity. A ramp member positioned below the travel surface has an end and a sloped surface, and is movable between an extended position where the sloped surface extends into the waste cavity, and a retracted position where the end is spaced from the side a distance greater than the length of the reagent card. A moving mechanism operably coupled with the ramp member is configured to move the ramp member between the extended position and the retracted position.

    摘要: The invention provides a set of standards for accurately calibrating a vacuum thermogravimetric analyzer (VTGA). The invention solves the problem of calibrating a VTGA by using the actual magnetic transitions and associated transition temperatures, or Curie temperatures, TC's, of a set of standards which can be used in-situ at the location of the sample holder obviating the difficulties associated with indirect methods of calibration. The set of standards permits accurate calibration through sufficiently numerous calibration points over a rather limited low-temperature range for determining vapor pressures of compounds. The set of temperature calibration standards is fabricated from slugs of ferromagnetic material. The composition of the ferromagnetic material in each slug is altered by alloying a ferromagnetic constituent with a non-ferromagnetic constituent to provide a plurality of standards with different Curie temperature over the limited temperature range. In particular, an embodiment of the invention using alloys of Ni and Cu where the amount of Cu varies between less than 0% up to approximately 50% by weight provides a set of standards that can span temperatures in any selected range from approximately 300 C to −150 C respectively. Prior to use in calibration, each slug is preferably placed in a magnetic field having a magnitude sufficient to provide a well defined magnetic transition at the Curie temperature.
