摘要: Valve repair systems and clips attachable to one or more leaflets of a heart valve. The systems and clips can have center member, first and second clipping arms, and a tubular member. The first and second clipping arms are movable between an open position and a closed position. The clipping arms including respective first end portions coupled together and respective second end portions extendable axially and radially outward. The tubular member is disposed about the first end portion of the center member and first end portions of the first and second clipping arms. Axial motion of the tubular member relative to the center member or axial motion of the center member relative to the tubular member causes corresponding movement of the clipping arms between the open and closed positions. Other implementations are also disclosed.

摘要: A mitral repair annuloplasty ring that will accommodate implantation of a transcatheter valve therein for a valve-in-ring reoperation. The ring has a semi-rigid core with features that allow the ring to better conform to the cylindrical geometry of a transcatheter valve when implanted. The inner core defines a continuous peripheral D-shape with a substantially straight anterior side diametrically across from a more rounded posterior side with arcuate lateral sides therebetween. Segments of the ring core are subject to differing rates of bending due to variable radial thicknesses or radial slits opening to both inner and outer edges around the core periphery. One or more expansion joints may also be used to create the more circular final expanded shape. A plastically expandable sealing sleeve may surround the transcatheter valve for sealing gaps between the valve and annuloplasty ring.

摘要: The invention is a device, system, and method for repairing heart valve function, which may include bisecting native valve leaflets for improved deployment of a prosthetic heart valve in the native valve annulus. The invention may include a catheter having a cutting element shaft with a cutting element configured to puncture a valve leaflet and/or make a controlled cut through the leaflet. The device may have an extendable foot configured to be positioned on an opposite side of the valve leaflet from the cutting element shaft. The device may include magnets to guide the cutting element and/or cutting element shaft in proper alignment with the extendable foot and to hold the elements in place during leaflet bisection.

The inner clover can be radially inside the outer clover, and the outer clover can have larger dimensions than the inner clover. The support frames herein can be radially expandable and collapsible.

The prosthesis can include an expandable frame configured to radially expand and contract for deployment within the body cavity and a valve body. The expandable frame can include a frame body and a supplemental frame. The valve body can include a plurality of leaflets and one or more intermediate components. The one or more intermediate components can couple at least a portion of the leaflets to the expandable frame. The prosthesis can include an annular flap positioned around an exterior of the expandable frame.
