The present disclosure provides a polyolefin-based composition suitable for use as adhesives and/or tie-layer adhesive compositions as well as a multi-layered structure made from and/or containing the polyolefin-based composition. The polyolefin-based composition is made from and/or contains (a) a grafted polyolefin composition, (b) a first polymer composition, (c) a polypropylene-containing blend composition, and (d) optionally, an additives composition having one or more additives.

A multilayer structure and a method for forming a multilayer structure, the multilayer structure includes: (A) a first polyolefin layer; (B) a styrene polymer layer; (C) a second polyolefin layer; and (D) at least one tie-layer comprising a tie-layer composition. The tie-layer composition includes: (1) 25 to 75 wt. %, based upon the total weight of the tie-layer composition, of a first copolymer, wherein the first copolymer comprises ethylene derived units and units derived from a C4-8 α-olefin; (2) 5 to 25 wt. %, based upon the total weight of the tie-layer composition, of a polyethylene resin grafted with an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid or acid derivative; (3) 20 to 50 wt. %, based upon the total weight of the tie-layer composition, of a triblock copolymer composition; and (4) optionally, 0.001 to 20 wt. %, based upon the total weight of the tie-layer composition, of a low density polyethylene.

Optionally, the polyolefin-based composition may be further made from or contain an additives composition. The polymeric composition is suitable for use as a tie-layer adhesive composition.

In general embodiments, the tie-layer adhesive comprises a primary additive and/or a secondary additive.

A lubricant composition is described. The novel lubricant composition has superior thermal stability, and can reduce the need to replenish the lubricant. The lubricant composition includes at least a soap component, a thickener component, an oil component, and a spherical polyolefin component (optionally Microthene). The spherical polyolefin component includes polyolefin microparticles.
