The display apparatus also has a light source disposed adjacent to at least one side portion of the light guide plates to emit light to the light incident surface, a display panel positioned to receive light from the light exiting surfaces to facilitate display of an image, and a diffusion member.     摘要: A display device includes a display panel which displays an image, a backlight unit which supplies the display panel with light, an upper cover, and a lower cover. The upper and lower covers accommodate the display panel and the backlight unit. The backlight unit includes light guide plates spaced apart from each other, a light source part, an optical member and an optical diffusion member overlapping a space between the light guide plates. The optical diffusion member includes a diffusing part and a supporting part. The diffusing part faces the optical member, overlaps the space between the light guide plates, and diffuses light emitted from the light source part toward the optical member through the space between the light guide plates. The supporting part protrudes from a surface of the diffusing part which is opposite to the optical member, and is in a space between the light sources.

    摘要: A display device includes a display panel and a light emitting device to supply light to the display panel. The light emitting device includes a light emitting element emitting a first light and a fluorescent layer receiving the first light, transmitting a portion of the first light, converting a remaining portion of the first light to a second light having a wavelength range different from the first light, and emitting the second light. The second light emitted by the fluorescent layer has a full width at half maximum equal to or larger than 110 nanometers (nm) and a light emission spectrum having a peak wavelength within a wavelength range of about 530 nm to about 560 nm. The second light has a light emission intensity corresponding to 10 to 30 percent of a peak light emission intensity of the first light.

    摘要: A light emitting diode package, a method of fabricating the same, and a display apparatus having the same are provided. The light emitting diode package includes a light emitting diode, a quantum dot layer, a band pass filter, disposed in a housing. The light emitting diode emits light of a first color. The quantum dot layer includes a plurality of quantum dots disposed on the light emitting diode to absorb a portion of the light emitted by the diode, and then emit light of a second color. The band pass filter is disposed on the quantum dot layer and has a first pass band corresponding to the light emitted from the diode and a second pass band corresponding to the light emitted from the quantum dots.
