    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide (i) a display device which, during a display of a moving image and a still image, reduces electric power consumption without causing a deterioration in display quality, and (ii) a method for displaying the display device. In an intermittent drive mode in which driving and a pause of the driving are repeated, an image identification section (6) identifies an input image (image data (DA)) as a still image or a moving image. In a case where the input image is identified as the moving image, a drive/pause control section (7) generates a drive/pause control signal (DSC) in accordance with a period ratio which is in accordance with the moving image. A timing control section (8) generates a driver control signal so that intermittent driving is carried out. Then, a source driver (3) and a gate driver (4) drives a display section (2) so that the drive period and the pause period are repeated in accordance with a predetermined period ratio, so that the input image (DA) is displayed. The drive/pause control section (7) sets a time ratio between the drive period and the pause period so that the time ratio is variable for each of the moving image and the still image.

    摘要: An electronic apparatus having a plurality of semiconductor devices which produce heat during operation, with a heat sink having a plurality of tabular or pin-type fins is provided on each semiconductor device. Nozzles are associated with the heat sinks so as to supply a cooling fluid into the heat sinks. The heat sinks are so arranged that all these heat sinks guide and discharge the cooling fluid in the same direction. A breadth of the respective nozzles, as measured in the direction (x-direction) of the flow and discharge of the cooling fluid determined by the heat sink is less than that of the associated heat sink. A width of the nozzle, as measured in the direction (y-direction) perpendicular to the x-direction is smaller than that of the associated heat sink. A space between adjacent nozzles provide a discharge passage of an ample cross-section which reduces resistance encountered by the heated cooling medium to be discharged therethrough.

    摘要: A connector assembly which is adapted to be incorporated in an electronic device and which includes a spring connector having a spring contact of a plunger type or of a spring leaf type. The plunger type spring connector has a pin which forms the spring contact and which is slidably movable due to the spring force so that the pin is electrically in contact with a contact pattern on a printed circuit board stably and constantly. The spring leaf type connector has a leaf spring which forms at its extended bent portion the spring contact and which bent portion is movable due to the spring force so that the tip of the bent extended portion is electrically in contact with the contact pattern on the printed circuit board stably and constantly. The spring leaf type connector includes, in addition to the leaf spring, a terminal pin, a coil spring and a mounting rib. The mounting rib holds the leaf spring with the coil spring pressing the leaf spring against the mounting rib. The connector assembly having either type or both the types of spring connector may suitably be incorporated in an electronic device equipped with a printed circuit board or a power supply terminal.
