    摘要: A first method is for determining a variable, which characterizes a fuel injection, in an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle in a hot-start situation wherein fuel is injected directly into at least one combustion chamber from a high-pressure region of a fuel supply system; the variable, which characterizes the injection quantity, is corrected at least in dependence upon a variable which represents a temperature of the fuel. A second method is for determining a hot-start situation in an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle wherein a hot-start situation is determined at least based on a variable, which represents a temperature of the fuel, and based on a fuel pressure. The invention relates likewise to corresponding arrangements, a corresponding control apparatus for an internal combustion engine, a corresponding computer program having program-code means and a corresponding computer program product having program-code means.

    摘要: A fuel supply system for an internal combustion engine, particularly of a motor vehicle, includes a control unit for determining a fuel quantity to be injected, the fuel quantity to be injected being initially increased during a start of the internal combustion engine and then being reduced again. The fuel supply system also includes a fuel injector for injecting the fuel quantity to be injected into a combustion chamber. It is checked by the control unit whether a combustion has taken place in the cylinder, and, if no combustion has taken place, the fuel quantity to be injected is not reduced, or is not reduced to the same extent as when a combustion has taken place.

    摘要: In an internal combustion engine, fuel is directly injected into at least one combustion chamber at least during a compression stroke in such a way that a stratified mixture is present in the combustion chamber. This mixture is then externally ignited. The fuel is introduced during the compression stroke by at least one main injection and an ignition injection, the ignition injection taking place immediately before an ignition and producing at least essentially no torque.

Likewise, a check can be made by the control apparatus (18) as to whether an injection interrupt angle is exceeded by the injection end angle.
