摘要: Disclosed is a communicatory navigation system including an information center (150), at least one navigation unit (100) each mounted on a vehicle and communication means for allowing bi-directional data communication between the information center and the navigation unit. Data transmission from the navigation unit to the information center is made during a period of communication that begins when the navigation unit become communicatable with the information center and ends when the bi-directional data communication therebetween is disconnected. The navigation unit is provided with a drive route history memory area (131) and an instrument operation history memory area (132), and data in these memory areas are transmitted to the information center, together with the vehicle current position data and the destination position data. The information center determines a recommended drive route from the current position to the destination, not only with reference to its own database (158) but also taking into consideration the history data. For example, if it is determined that there is a traffic accident or heavy traffic jam in some route, a bypass route is determined and transmitted back to the navigation unit. When the previous drive route indicated by data in area (131) is not found in the database (158), it can be recognized as a newly constructed road for inclusion in the database.

There is disclosed a vertically long absorbent article comprising a surface layer with surface sheet (2), a backside layer with backside sheet (3), an absorbent layer with absorbent body (4) interposed therebetween and a pair of gathers (5,5) formed of a sheetlike member (9) so as to have a hollow on both the side areas of the surface layer in the longitudinal direction thereof. The pair of gathers (5,5) in the state of having a three-dimensional configuration part (10) wherein the sheetlike member (9) makes a convex on the external surface side of the absorbent article in the thickness direction thereof are joined to the surface layer and/or backside layer by a junction portion (11) provided so as to extend in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article. The three-dimensional configuration part (10) is provided so as to construct a hollow. The junction portion (11) includes a first junction edge portion (10a) defining the edge portion of the three-dimensional configuration part (10) on the inward side in the width direction thereof and a second junction edge portion (10b) defining the edge portion of the three-dimensional configuration part (10) on the outward side in the width direction thereof. Providing that L1 refers to the length of the three-dimensional configuration part (10) from the first junction edge portion (10a) to the second junction edge portion (10b) and L2 refers to the inter-junction-edge-portion distance being the distance between the first junction edge portion (10a) and the second junction edge portion (10b), the ratio thereof, L1/L2 is 2 or greater.

摘要: A method of making specified-length wires for wire harness from continuous wires consists of the steps of: fixing a front end of the U-bent continuous wire and pulling the U-bent wire to pay out a predetermined amount thereof; and cutting the U-bent, pulled wire at a portion almost opposite to the fixed front end. An apparatus for putting the above method into practice comprises: a rotatable wire bending head for holding the front end of a continuous wire by wire clamp plates and bending the wire in a U-shape; a wire pulling head for engaging or holding the U-shaped portion and pulling it in the axial direction of the wire to pay out a predetermined amount thereof; and a cutting blade for cutting the U-bent, pulled wire at a position almost opposite to the front end.

摘要: A braking force application control is performed when a change in a driver's posture takes place while a brake pedal is turned on when a vehicle is stopped. As a consequence, in a case in which the driver's posture changes such as when the driver turns to a rear seat side to get something without intending to release depression of the brake pedal, creep of the vehicle that the driver does not intend to happen can be inhibited. Furthermore, the vehicle stop retention is only performed when a travelling direction is a forward direction or a seatbelt is worn. As a result, performance of the vehicle stop retention can be inhibited when it is considered that the driver intentionally desires to let the vehicle creep.
