摘要: An apparatus for assembling a door handle operates by installing a key guard assembly in the door handle in automatically assembling the door handle assembly to be mounted on the outer surface of an automotive door panel. The apparatus includes a first feed device for feeding components of the key guard assembly supplied from a parts feeder, a superposing device for superposing the components of the key guard assembly supplied by the first feed device, into a key guard assembly, an industrial robot for installing the key guard assembly in a door handle, and a second feed device for delivering the key board assembly to the industrial robot. The industrial robot includes a chuck device for dripping the key guard assembly and installing the key guard assembly in the door handle, and an end effector having a staking device for bending tongues of the key guard assembly to fix the key guard assembly to the door handle.

摘要: A PC card slot device for an ExpressCard affords a smooth insertion of the ExpressCard into a slot for the PC card slot device, without the height of the slot being increased. A lower chassis ceiling wall defines the lower face side of a card storage space, and also includes a slot side edge that is formed of a rear-side inclined line portion and a slot-side inclined line portion. The rear-side inclined line portion and the slot-side inclined line portion are respectively inclined at angles α1 and α2, relative to a reference cross section. To insert the ExpressCard into the slot of the card storage space, the right corner of the right upper level lower face portion of the card is inserted into the card storage space and the front end of the right stepped portion of the card is guided along the inclined line portions.

摘要: In an image reading apparatus which can read a transparent original and reflection original, a white background is formed like a sheet. The image reading apparatus is arranged to be movable by a pair of rollers which rotate using, e.g., the driving source of an original feeder. To read a transparent original, the white sheet is moved by the pair of rollers to a position where a transparent original reading illumination unit is exposed. This makes it possible to eliminate trouble in detaching the white background mounted on the back of an original platen in accordance with the type of an original to be read.

摘要: An impact-resistant apparatus includes support members for supporting the apparatus on a surface, an impact sensor for sensing an impact, and means for aborting a predetermined operation based on an output from the impact sensor. In this apparatus, a protruding member protruding downward from a plane in contact with lower ends of the respective support members is provided at a position wherein impact from the protruding member caused by a fall of the apparatus is transmitted to the impact sensor so that the predetermined operation is aborted effectively.

In the lead-free super-highly conductive plastic, since particles of the lead-free solder are connected with each other via solder melted within the plastic, the particles of the lead-free solder are mutually joined, so that high conductivity is attained.

摘要: An electronic component unit such as a speaker unit which is to be installed in the main body of a notebook-sized PC, includes an integral connector with compression type terminals that are connected with lead wires to a speaker. When the speaker unit is disposed on a speaker-unit mounting portion, the compression type terminals are disposed at a position where they contact with the lands of a system board. The speaker unit is fixed by inserting screws into the support portions of a housing, and at the same time, the compression type terminals are elastically contacted with the lands and electrically connected thereto.
