摘要: In a braking force control apparatus which controls a braking force applied to a vehicle based on a relation thereof with an obstacle ahead of the vehicle, irrespective of a braking operation of a driver, a lateral force is predicted which can be generated in cases where avoidance steering is carried out by the driver, in order to avoid an obstacle which has been detected, and an actual braking force actually applied to a longitudinal direction of the vehicle is limited in accordance with a braking force which can be applied in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and which is calculated based on the lateral force thus predicted. According to this, in the braking force control apparatus which controls the braking force of the vehicle, the lateral force for avoiding a collision with the obstacle by means of steering is obtained.

摘要: In a braking force control apparatus which controls a braking force applied to a vehicle based on a relation thereof with an obstacle ahead of the vehicle, irrespective of a braking operation of a driver, a lateral force is predicted which can be generated in cases where avoidance steering is carried out by the driver, in order to avoid an obstacle which has been detected, and an actual braking force actually applied to a longitudinal direction of the vehicle is limited in accordance with a braking force which can be applied in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and which is calculated based on the lateral force thus predicted. According to this, in the braking force control apparatus which controls the braking force of the vehicle, the lateral force for avoiding a collision with the obstacle by means of steering is obtained.

摘要: A method for producing a color filter involves (A) forming a photosensitive coating film on an electrically conductive layer formed on a surface of a substrate, and exposing the photosensitive coating film trough a mask having patterns of at least three different degrees of light transmittances; (B) developing and removing a photosensitive coating film portion registering with one of the patterns of smallest and largest degrees of light transmittances for exposing the electrically conductive layer and electrodepositing a colord coating on the exposed electrically conductive layer for forming a colored layer thereon, operation of developing and removing the photosensitive coating film followed by electrodeposition being repeated for the respective patterns of different degrees of light transmittances in sequence of difference in transmittances for producing different colored layers, respectively; (C) selectively forming a metal layer in interstices present between the colored layers, and (D) transcribing the colored layers and the metal layer onto another substrate.

摘要: A method for preparing a norbornene structure compound comprises hydrogenating a compound represented by the formula of ##STR1## wherein l, m and n are integers of 0.ltoreq.l.ltoreq.3, 0.ltoreq.m.ltoreq.8 and 1.ltoreq.n.ltoreq.3, respectively, and each of R.sup.1 to R.sup.6 is a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon residue having 1 to 3 carbon atoms with or without R.sup.6 forming a ring with R.sup.4 or R.sup.5, in the presence of a Ziegler type catalyst containing in combination a compound of a transition metal of Groups IV to VI of the periodic table and an organometallic compound of Groups I to III of the periodic table, to thereby convert the compound of the formula (1) into a compound represented by the following formula of ##STR2## wherein l, m and n are the same as above.

In particular, the present invention concerns .beta.-hydroxycyclopentylperoxide compounds of the general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents hydrogen or an organic residue of 1 to 9 carbon atoms. These novel peroxide compounds are useful as an intermediate in the production of glutaraldehydes.

摘要: Provided is a drive assisting apparatus which assists follow-up travelling to a forward vehicle including an inter-vehicle information acquisition unit 10 that acquires a distance between a host vehicle and a forward vehicle, a deceleration unit 12 that performs a deceleration control based on the inter-vehicle distance, and a steering information acquisition unit 14 that detects steering by a driver, and the deceleration unit 12 stops the deceleration control, when the steering is detected. Therefore, it is possible to appropriately understand the will of a driver and perform a deceleration control based on the will of the driver.

摘要: In a vehicle pop-up hood apparatus in which a rod is extended and a hood is pushed up by the operation of an actuator at a time of collision with a collision body, collision energy is absorbed with high efficiency when a collision load of a predetermined value or greater is input to an area near a hood pushed up position.Actuator (18) operates such that rod (20) moves in an axial direction toward a hood upper side, pushes up a rear edge side of hood rocker (12) and holds it at that position and, in that state, when a collision load of a predetermined value or greater acts from a hood upper side to near the pushed up position of the hood, push portion (54) slides along pushed up surface (38) of hinge arm (30) towards a vehicle rear side, and rod (20) is made to bend in conjunction therewith.

摘要: A method for producing a color filter involves (A) forming a photosensitive coating film on at least a transparent electrically conductive layer of a substrate having both the transparent electrically conductive layer and a light-intercepting layer on its outermost surface, and exposing the photosensitive coating film to light in a first irradiation amount through a mask having a predetermined pattern of a certain light transmittance and at least once displacing the mask to another position on the photosensitive coating film and exposing the photosensitive coating film to light in a second irradiation amount different from the first irradiation amount through the mask; and (B) developing and removing a photosensitive coating film portion exposed to light in one of smallest and largest irradiation amounts for exposing the transparent electrically conductive layer and electrodepositing a colored coating on the exposed electrically conductive layer for forming a colored layer thereon, operation of developing and removing the photosensitive coating film and electrodepositing the colored coating being sequentially repeated for the respective irradiation amounts where the sequence of repetition is selected from the group consisting of increasing irradiation amount and decreasing irradiation amount to form different colored layers, respectively.
