摘要: To improve the oil supply and to prevent retarded dripping of oil from an oil burner nozzle when the burner flame has been extinguished, oil supply members are made of a heat-insulating material and positioned in the interior. The oil supply in the nozzle is provided by a oil filter with one or a plurality of solid porous bodies having narrow oil supply conduits. It has been shown that a porous plastic material, in particular a sintered plastic material, is advantageously suited for this purpose. The nozzle head, which can be screwed directly into the oil pre-heater, may comprise a metal with good heat conducting properties or a ceramic material and, in contrast thereto, the oil supply members submerged into the oil are made of a heat-insulating material. Thus, it is not only possible to manufacture the oil burner nozzle in a cost-effective manner, but it also has a considerably improved dripping effect, particularly if the oil supply members have a resistance control because of appropriate porosity or a sponge-like structural design.

摘要: The disclosure is of a plant-growing device comprising a container of which the lower part forms a water reservoir with a sight-glass, a plate covering the reservoir and supporting a mass of rooting medium, and a water-supply channel for the introduction of water to the reservoir, the plate being foraminous for the aeration of the rooting medium and penetrated by tubes of which the lower ends dip into the water in the reservoir, the tubes containing capillary material and being selectively closable.

摘要: An auto-expansible cushioning bag constituted by a completely closed envelope of flexible, impervious and transparent material, and by at least two hermetically closed sachets, likewise of flexible, transparent and impervious material, which are integrated into the envelope and contain the ingredients necessary for the production of a foam of polyurethane or the like. The one sachet contains a mixture of polypropylene glycol ("polyol"), activators, water from which CO.sub.2 gas is generated to cause the expansion, and possibly a supplementary inflating agent, such as trichlorofluoromethane, and the other contains an isocyanate.

摘要: Cushions are produced from padding of polyurethane foam cast in situ in a textile covering. There are disposed successively in a mold (1) a textile (2) overlaid by a foam sheet (3) with cells that are open and communicating, and then a fluid-tight film (4), e.g. of glue. The composite (5) thus obtained, adapted to constitute the covering of the cushion, is held against the internal wall (6) of the mold (1) by suction, and then there is cast in the mold (1) a foaming mixture of polyurethane (7) which expands and hardens after closing of the mold (1). Finally, a microperforation of the fluid-tight film (4) is effected, thereby to confer on it good permeability to water vapor and permitting also to generate, by the effect of suction, an underpressure in the foam (8) in the course of hardening, such that the resulting padding of foam (8) will have, after polymerization and demolding, constituent cells (11) that are open and communicating. This microperforation is effected by heating the composite ( 5) to the softening point of the film of glue (4) and by aspiration under vacuum at the level of the internal wall (6) of the mold (1), giving rise to the penetration by suction of the softened film of glue (4) into the surface cells of the sheet of foam (3) and, as a result, the obtention of substantially point elongations of the film of glue (4) leading to microruptures in this latter and permitting also to produce a unification by thermobonding of the film of glue (4) with the sheet of foam (3).

摘要: The disclosure is of a process for moulding cellular polycarbodiimide, characterized in that it consists essentially in heating a panel by radiation and direct contact in a mould-die assembly, in compressing this panel when the foam reaches its softening point, so as to increase its density, in deforming it and rendering the material less friable, more elastic, smooth, calendered and of higher mechanical quality, while retaining its inherent qualities of non-inflammability, and finally in slightly cooling the mould after the moulding, for example by means of an air jet, so as slightly to harden the moulded product before the die is withdrawn and the said product is withdrawn from the mould.
