    摘要： Systems, assemblies and methods for assembling a sheath member with respect to a spinal stabilization device are provided. The disclosed sheath assembly includes at least one connector ring mounted with respect to a sheath member. The connector ring defines an inner wall that shields the sheath member from elements positioned therewithin, e.g., spring members, and generally includes a plurality of radially-spaced notches. The connector ring receives the sheath member within an internal cavity and is secured thereto by crimping, compression or swaging. The sheath assembly may be mounted with respect to a spinal stabilization device by crimping, compressing or swaging the connector ring to an underlying structure, e.g., an end cap or associated flange. The internal cavity of the connector ring is generally defined by an inner face, an outer wall and an intermediate apex region. Methods for assembly are also disclosed.

    摘要： A field effect semiconductor device comprising a high permittivity silicate gate dielectric and a method of forming the same are disclosed herein. The device comprises a silicon substrate 20 having a semiconducting channel region 24 formed therein. A metal silicate gate dielectric layer 36 is formed over this substrate, followed by a conductive gate 38. Silicate layer 36 may be, e.g., hafnium silicate, such that the dielectric constant of the gate dielectric is significantly higher than the dielectric constant of silicon dioxide. However, the silicate gate dielectric may also be designed to have the advantages of silicon dioxide, e.g. high breakdown, low interface state density, and high stability. The present invention includes methods for depositing both amorphous and polycrystalline silicate layers, as well as graded composition silicate layers.

    摘要： A running tool for installing a casing hanger in a subsea conductor also serves to wash cement from the annulus surrounding the casing hanger. The running tool includes a tubular tool body which connects to a string of conduit. An internal sleeve mounts in the interior of the tool body for rotational movement only. A torque member lowers through the conduit to the internal sleeve for rotating the internal sleeve. A wash port extends from the interior of the tool body to the exterior of the tool body. An external sleeve mounts to the exterior of the tool body for axial movement between a closed position, closing the wash port, and an open position, opening the wash port. A linking mechanism between the internal and external sleeve causes rotary movement of the internal sleeve to move the external sleeve axially.
