摘要: The invention proposes a method of peer-to-peer instant messaging and the mobile terminal thereof, which could make the mobile terminal to establish and maintain a list of friend users and update the connection status of the friend users timely. The method of peer-to-peer instant messaging includes following steps: receiving the list of on-line users with capability of peer-to-peer instant messaging sent by the radio network (S260); comparing said list of particular users with said received list of on-line users (S270); updating, according to said comparison result, the connection status record of each user in said list of particular users (S280) so that the mobile terminal could establish a peer-to-peer instant messaging with at least one user mobile terminal in said list of particular users according to said updated connection status record. The present invention enables the user to establish peer-to-peer connection more effectively and to perform instant messaging while occupying less network resources.

摘要: A hearing aid includes a speaker in a tip that is located in an ear canal. The tip includes a coupling, a retainer that mechanically engages the coupling, and a sleeve axially surrounding the retainer. The retainer attenuates lower frequencies than are attenuated by the sleeve. The sleeve is preferably a foam rubber and the retainer is preferably a composite material. A flange on the retainer reflects sound back into the sleeve for additional attenuation. It has been discovered that operation is improved if the outside diameter of the sleeve and the outside diameter of the retainer are in the ratio of approximately 1.75:1.

摘要: A remote control unit includes an RF transceiver that complies with a Bluetooth® standard and an RF transmitter that does not comply with the Bluetooth® standard, whereby the remote control unit serves as a wireless gateway between Bluetooth® compliant devices and the hearing aid. The hearing aid can further include a transmitter and the remote control unit can further include a receiver, neither of which comply with the Bluetooth® standard. The transmitters operate in the ISM band at low power, minimizing power dissipation within a hearing aid.

摘要: A front control panel assembly is mounted to an upper portion of a laundry appliance cabinet. The control panel has upper and lower spaced apart support brackets, each having a slot having a guiding portion and a trough. A heat shield is mounted to the cabinet and has four spaced apart cantilever posts each having a shaft portion and an end portion received in the support brackets to support the control panel to the cabinet. The lower support brackets secure the corresponding shaft portion via a clasp portion. The secured control panel can move only in opposite first and second radial directions relative the axis of the shaft portion. The guiding portion helps locate the cantilever posts relative the support brackets. A screw passing frontally through the control panel secures it to the heat shield. Cantilever post support bracket cooperation inhibits control panel rotation about the axis of the screw.

摘要: A neural probe (10) is provided for in vivo communication with biological tissue, including stimulating neurons and/or recording neural electrical activity. The probe (10) may be constructed so that the immune response by the biological tissue in which the device is implanted is reduced over known implantable probes. The probe (10) can be constructed with a tip (16) that has a branched configuration, with electrodes (24) located along each of the branches (20). A biodegradable coating (18) is disposed over at least the tip (16) of the probe (10) to provide the probe (10) with sufficient integrity for insertion into the biological tissue and to degrade after insertion. The biodegradable coating (18) can have an anti-inflammatory drug or other bioagent distributed therein for localized release of the bioagent to further reduce the immune response.
