摘要： A water-soluble vinyl polymer is produced by polymerizing a water-soluble vinyl monomer in the presence of a catalyst or under the action of ultraviolet rays to prepare a polymer having a degree of polymerization of at least 95%, adjusting the water content of the system containing said polymer to be within the range of from 15 to 30%, and irradiating said system with ionizing radiation.

摘要： A process is, herein, disclosed for electrolysis or pure water in an electrolytic cell which is divided into an anode compartment and a cathode compartment by a cation exchange membrane and in which pure water is supplied to the anode compartment for electrolysis to generate oxygen in the anode compartment and hydrogen in the cathode compartment, said cation exchange membrane being produced by grafting a fluorovinyl sulfonic acid monomer onto a membranous polymeric substrate having a monomer unit of the formula: ##STR1## (wherein X is hydrogen, fluorine or CH.sub.3 ; and Y is hydrogen or fluorine), said cation exchange membrane being used in close contact with an anode and a cathode.

摘要： A process for producing a medical material having high anti-thrombogenicity that is suitable for use in catheters and other medical devices in contact with blood flowing in circulatory organs and other tissues is disclosed. According to this process, an acrylamide or methacrylamide derivative having a tertiary amino group, or an unsaturated monomer having a hydrophihlic group and the ability to promote copolymerization, or a mixture thereof is graft polymerized onto a polyurethane elastomeric or polyolefinic high-molecular weight substrate with an ionizing radiation.

摘要： An article packaging body is formed from a sheet of hard material so as to comprise an article containing plate part having a plurality of containing recesses for containing articles, a cover plate part connected with the article containing plate part, and a gripping piece forming plate part formed by extending from the article containing plate part and/or the cover plate part via a folding line. A plurality of gripping pieces is formed in the gripping piece forming plate part so as to be separable individually and to hold an article at the tip end of each of the gripping pieces. The gripping piece forming plate part is folded onto the article containing plate part such that the articles are placed in the respective containing recesses, and the cover plate part is openably closed so as to sandwich the gripping piece forming plate part between the cover plate part and the article containing plate part.
