A signal (U) for triggering a performance-determining final controlling element (105) is stored in a characteristics map (110) for each of a corresponding fuel quantity (QK) to be injected into the engine. The signal values stored in the characteristics map (110) are then corrected in dependence upon a predetermined relationship of a signal corresponding to the value for the fuel quantity (QK) to be injected and a signal corresponding to the value for the actually injected fuel quantity (QKI).

    摘要: A method and a device for controlling an internal combustion engine. An actuator serves to influence the quantity of exhaust gas recirculated. A loop controller preselects the quantity of exhaust gas to be recirculated on the basis of a setpoint and an actual value which characterizes the quantity of exhaust gas recirculated. A first measured value is determined in a first position (open) of the actuator, and a second measured value is determined in a second position (closed) of the actuator, with the actual value or a correction value being preselectable on the basis of the difference between the two measured values.

    摘要: A control system for a fuel pump, particularly for a solenoid-valve-controlled fuel pump in the case of a self-ignitable internal-combustion engine, in which at least one pulse transmitter is mounted on the crankshaft and/or on the camshaft. The generated pulse sequences include at least several reference pulses for establishing the beginning of fuel injection, as well as speed pulses for detecting the average and the instantaneous rotational speeds. A trial activation takes place to detect into which cylinder the fuel must be injected. Based on the reaction of the fuel injection system and/or of the internal-combustion engine, it is detected whether fuel was injected into the proper cylinder.

    摘要: In a device for adjusting the injection timing in a diesel engine fitted with EDC, a basic value (SBGWs) of injection timing for operation in the static or steady state is stored in a first characteristic field (20) and a basic value (SBGWd) for operation in the dynamic or unsteady state such as acceleration and deceleration is stored in a second characteristic field (22). These basic values are dependent on desired injected fuel quantity (Q) and engine speed (n). The characteristic field (20) for the static state is designed empirically or otherwise to optimize fuel consumption whereas the characteristic field (22) for the dynamic state is designed for minimum pollutant emission. A gradual changeover from one mode to the other is achieved by the gradual change of a multiplying factor (c) from 0 to 1 or vice versa responsively to dQ/dt departing significantly from zero or becoming zero.
