    摘要： A roofing system includes a construction board positioned over a roof deck and a plurality of fastening plates positioned on a top surface of the construction board. At least one connector extends between two of the plurality of fastening plates and is positioned on the top surface of the construction board. The construction boards may be insulation or cover boards, and in certain embodiments may be polyisocyanurate boards. Fasteners are driven through the fastening plates and the construction boards and into an underlying roof deck to secure the construction boards in place.

    摘要： A limited-access environment is established to which admittance is controlled by an authority. Carrying of unapproved wireless communication devices into the environment is prohibited. Approved wireless communication devices are distributed, e.g. rented, under the authority's control for use within the environment. Rental fees may be collected for use of the device. The approved device may be specially configured to comply with rules applicable to the environment and/or to provide environment-relevant information, such as scoring and other information in context of a golf tournament event. The device may be specially configured with advertisements or other advertising indicia indicating sponsorship, etc., thereby providing the authority with advertising-related revenues. The device may include global positioning system (GPS) hardware and/or software for determining a physical location of the device relative to the earth, and software for providing information content as a function of such location information.

    摘要： A vehicle transporter is disclosed, for use in filming scenes in which characters are shown as occupying a moving vehicle, and in which the characters, and adjacent parts of the vehicle, appear in the foreground, and which transporter can also be used for straightforward transportation of such a vehicle by road.The vehicle transporter comprises a low flat platform so contrived that the vehicle in question can readily be driven or wheeled onto it from behind, the transporter having at its front end a relatively raised structure, carrying castor wheels, and having a draw bar bearing a towing attachment. Adjustment means is provided whereby the level of the front of the platform relative to the towing attachment can be adjusted, and further wheels are carried by the platform, mid-way along the latter, at least one pair of which can also be adjusted in level relative to the platform, so that the platform can be placed very close to the road surface, for filming, in the interests of authenticity, and can be raised, for transportation, on public roads, to the level required by regulations and in the interests of safety.
