Abstract: An acrylic resin composition includes an acrylic resin and a graft copolymer. The graft copolymer includes an inner layer and an outer layer. The inner layer is a soft polymer (B) having, as structural units, a monomer mixture (b) containing 40 to 99 wt % of an alkyl acrylate ester, 1 to 60 wt % of benzyl (meth)acrylate, and 0 to 40 wt % of another monomer and 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of a polyfunctional monomer; and the outer layer is a hard polymer (C) having, as structural units, a monomer mixture (c) containing 60 to 100 wt % of an alkyl methacrylate ester, 0 to 10 wt % of benzyl (meth)acrylate, and 40 to 0 w % of another monomer and 0 to 10 parts by weight of a polyfunctional monomer.

Abstract: An optical resin composition from which a film with improved adhesion to a polyvinyl alcohol-based film and improved flex resistance can be obtained while keeping high film transparency. The optical resin composition includes: 99 to 50% by weight of an acrylic resin having a glass transition temperature of not lower than 110° C.; and 1 to 50% by weight of a particulate (meth)acrylic multilayer structure graft copolymer containing: an innermost layer made of a polymer containing a methacrylic acid ester as a first monomer; a middle layer made of a polymer containing, as a second monomer, an acrylic acid alkyl ester having an alkyl group with 4 to 12 carbon atoms; and an outermost layer made of a polymer containing a methacrylic acid ester as a third monomer. A graft ratio of the (meth)acrylic multilayer structure graft copolymer is not less than 110%.

Abstract: A resin composition includes an acrylic resin and a graft copolymer having a gel content of 65% to 84%, wherein the graft copolymer is a multistage-polymerized graft copolymer obtained by a multistage polymerization including the polymerization stages (I) to (III). In the polymerization stage (I), a first monomer mixture and a polyfunctional monomer are polymerized in a presence of a primary alkyl mercaptan-based chain transfer agent and/or a secondary alkyl mercaptan-based chain transfer agent to obtain a first hard polymer. In the polymerization stage (II), a second monomer mixture and a polyfunctional monomer are poloymerized to obtain a soft polymer. In the polymerization stage (III), a third monomer mixture and a polyfunctional monomer are polymerized to obtain a second hard polymer.

Abstract: An acrylic resin film is provided that may include graft copolymer particles (A) with a multilayer structure and graft copolymer particles (B) with a multilayer structure, wherein the graft copolymer particles (A) may have an average particle size in the range of 20 to 150 nm, the graft copolymer particles (B) may have a larger average particle size than the graft copolymer particles (A). The graft copolymer particles (A) may include a cross-linked elastomer (A1) and a graft polymer layer (A2), the graft polymer layer (A2) being closer to a surface layer than the cross-linked elastomer (A1). Further, a constituent unit may be derived from an acrylate with an alkyl ester moiety having two or more carbon atoms constitutes 8% or less by mass of the graft polymer layer (A2), the graft copolymer particles (B) may contain a cross-linked elastomer (B1).

Abstract: Provided is a laminate that has excellent moldability and excellent wear resistance, and that contains an acrylic-based resin film. Excellent mouldability and wear resistance can be attained by providing a laminate including a specific acrylic-based resin film, and a specific ultraviolet-curable hard coat layer that is laminated on at least one side of the acrylic-based resin film. The laminate has a specific crack elongation and exhibits a Δhaze of not more than 1.0% in a steel wool wear test at 50 g/cm2 and 5 reciprocating motions.
