    摘要: A shaft member 1 and an outer peripheral member 2 disposed on the outer periphery of the shaft member 1 are joined together by splines 3 through which the teeth 31 of the shaft member 1 and the teeth 32 of the outer peripheral member 2 are fitted together. At one axial end of each spline 3, a trough 31 in the tooth 31 of the shaft member 1 is diametrically increased to provide a diametrically increased region S1. In this diametrically increased region S1, there is defined a fit region F for the tooth 31 of the shaft member 1 and the tooth 32 of the outer peripheral member 2.

    摘要: The power transmission shaft 12 is made by applying induction hardening to carbon steel with hardening ratio in a range from 0.25 to 0.50. For the carbon steel, one containing 0.39 to 0.49% of C, 0.4 to 1.5% of Si, 0.4 to 1.0% of Mn, 0.025% or less S, 0.02% or less P and 0.01 to 0.1% of Al by weight as the basic components, with the rest comprising Fe and inevitable impurities is used. This makes it possible to achieve higher strength and lighter weight of the power transmission shaft.

When the connecting pipe formed with a bead expanded in the radial direction is connected with this pipe joint, a male thread of the pipe joint body is engaged with a female thread of the nut member to hold the bead between a tapered face and a tapered face. In addition, the joined portion between the bead and the tapered face forms a first sealed portion, and a joined portion between the bead and the tapered face forms a second sealed portion. Still further, a tapered face of the pipe joint body is joined with the tapered face of the nut member to form a third sealed portion.

    摘要: To improve the separation efficiency of a gas-liquid separator in the gas-liquid separator and an air conditioner, the gas-liquid separator having a vessel with an inlet pipe and an outlet pipe is arranged such that an exit end section of the inlet pipe is formed to be closed or to have a gap, an expanded end section having a width greater than the diameter of that portion of the inlet pipe which crosses a container of the gas-liquid separator is provided, and that a lateral hole is formed in a side face of the expanded end section. Refrigerant vapor and refrigerant liquid are efficiently separated from each other at the expanded end section, and this improves separation efficiency of the gas-liquid separator.
