摘要: According to one embodiment, an image processing apparatus includes a processing unit, a tessellation processing unit and a tessellation data storage unit. The processing unit performs interpolation processing on vertex data of a vector image for each sprite. The tessellation processing unit is hardware to perform tessellation processing that generates primitives based on the vertex data from the processing unit. The tessellation data storage unit stores the primitives generated by the tessellation processing unit for each sprite. The processing unit generates a rendering function to render the vector image based on the stored primitives in the tessellation data storage unit, the stored primitives is generated by rendering processing prior to the present rendering processing.

摘要: When writing image data which is stored in a cache memory and includes data of a plurality of virtual sub-pixels for each of a plurality of pixels, into a main memory, an image data processing method applies predetermined compression processing to the image data. When reading out the image data stored in the main memory from the main memory and writing the read image data into the cache memory, the image data processing method applies predetermined decompression processing to the read image data.

摘要: A decoding device has a buffer configured in memory to store N code streams and N decoders connected in series. Each of N decoders decodes a corresponding code steam and sequentially generates partial symbols of M bit width each unit cycle. Among the N decoders, i (i>=2) stage decoders stores multiple probabilistic models in the memory. In each unit cycle, the decoder receives an input of i−1 partial symbols which contains partial symbols generated by the i−1 stage decoder in the former unit cycle, selects one probabilistic model among the multiple probabilistic models based on i−1 partial symbols which are entered previously, generates one partial symbol using previously selected probabilistic models, and outputs the previously generated one partial symbol along with previously entered i−1 partial symbols.

摘要: An optical communication module and an optical communication device including the same are provided. For example, a first semiconductor chip on which a laser diode is formed and a second semiconductor chip on which a laser diode driver circuit, etc. for subjecting the laser diode to drive by current are formed are mounted on a package printed circuit board to be close to each other. Temperature detecting means is further formed on the second semiconductor chip (laser diode driver circuit, etc.). The temperature detecting means detects a temperature variation ΔT of the first semiconductor chip (laser diode) transmitted via a wiring in the package printed circuit board and controls the magnitude of the driving current of the laser diode driver circuit based on a detection result.

摘要: An apparatus of drawing graphics includes an edge coefficient calculator calculating, from vertex data on vertices of a triangle, edge coefficients of edge functions used to determine whether a pixel is present in an inside region of the triangle, and a bounding box calculator calculating a bounding box of projected images of the triangle on a projection plane based on the edge coefficients. The apparatus also includes a starting point determiner and a traverser. The starting point determiner classifies the projected images of the triangle based on a combination of the edge coefficients for respective sides of the triangle, and determines a scan starting point from a corner of the bounding box based on classification of the projected images. The traverser generates pixel data used in rasterization by scanning the bounding box from the scan starting point.

摘要: A catalytic converter apparatus for reducing pollutants from an engine having a plurality of cylinders. The converter apparatus has an upper casing for mounting on the engine and branch pipes extending to the engine and through which exhaust gas discharged from the respective cylinders in the engine is led. A lower casing is connected to the upper casing for forming an exhaust manifold in cooperation with the upper casing. The lower casing has a discharge port for the exhaust gas. A catalyst casing is disposed within the exhaust manifold and has a support member extending therefrom and held between abutting surfaces of the upper and lower casings. Bolts are inserted through the casings from above the upper casing for coupling the upper and lower casings to each other and clamping the support member therebetween.

摘要: An ignition apparatus is disclosed for use in a multi cylinder internal combustion engine having a first group of cylinders supplied with an enriched air-fuel mixture and a second group of cylinders supplied with a lean air-fuel mixture. A first control device controls the ignition timing of the first cylinders and a second control device controls the ignition timing of the second cylinders. The first and second control devices are adapted to operate in such a way that the ignition timing for the second cylinders is retarded relative to that for the first cylinders at medium or low load conditions of the engine, and the ignition timing for the second cylinders is advanced relative to or nearly the same as that for the first cylinders under a high load condition.
