    摘要: A combustion chamber of a pulsating combustor is supplied with fuel from a fuel-supplying system and with air for combustion from an air-intake chamber through an air-intake pipe. The air-intake pipe is interiorly provided with an aerodynamic valve having a forward flow coefficient greater than a flow coefficient in a reversed direction. An air-supplying fan controlled by a combustion control unit is connected to the air-intake chamber. A fuel control valve for varying the amount of fuel supplied to the combustion chamber is connected to a fuel-supplying pipe of a fuel-supplying system. When a mixture gas within the combustion chamber is fired at the start of a pulsating combustion system, the combustion control unit rotates the air-supplying fan at high speed to forcibly feed air for combustion into the combustion chamber. When the fuel control valve is operated in order to vary the combustion power, the combustion control unit rotates the air-supplying fan in the rotational direction and at the rotational frequency corresponding to the amount of fuel varied thereby to feed air for combustion into the combustion chamber to realize an optimum ratio of fuel to air for combustion.

    摘要: A disc brake comprising a holder secured to a nonrotatable part of a vehicle, a first pin secured to the holder and extending in the opposite direction therefrom with one end portion straddling the circumference of a rotatable disc, a second pin secured to the holder and extending in the direction separating from the disc, a pair of friction pads on the opposite sides of the disc, a caliper slidably supported on the second pin and the other end portion of the first pin, and a third pin mounted on the caliper and spaced from the first pin in the direction of the circumference of the disc and supporting one ends of the friction pads, the other end of at least one of the friction pads being slidably supported on the first pin. The present invention enables reduction of the size and the weight of the holder. Further, the pad replacing operation can easily be performed without releasing the connection between the caliper and the holder.

    摘要: The invention can provide a stereoscopic image display device, which achieves advantages of both a “glasses” device and a “naked-eye” device, while having a small size. When a right-eye image is displayed, a light blocking region forms on the left side of the center line, and when a left-eye image is displayed, a light blocking region forms on the right side of the center line. When the viewer is located in the regions, the right eye views the right-eye image, and the left eye views the left-eye image. Thus, even when the viewer faces stereoscopic display device with naked eyes, the viewer can view the stereoscopic image as long as the eyes of the viewer are located in the light blocking regions. The right and left images are mixed in the region other than the light blocking regions. However, multiple viewers can view the stereoscopic image when wearing the glasses.
