    摘要: A carbon deposition preventive double-layered tube for handling carbon compounds at not less than 500.degree. C., the double-layered tube comprising:(a) the layer to be exposed to the carbon compounds, constructed from an alloy which is composed of Cr, Ni, and Fe in porportions shown within a triangular region I of an equilibrium diagram (FIG. 1), the region I bounded by a line from a point (A(Cr: 52% by weight, Ni: 48% by weight, Fe: 0% by weight) to a point B(Cr: 28% by weight, Ni: 36% by weight, Fe: 36% by weight), a line from the point B to a point C(Cr: 28% by weight, Ni: 72% by weight, Fe: 0% by weight), and a line from the point C to the point A; and(b) the other layer which is not exposed to the carbon compounds, constructed from an alloy which is composed of Cr, Ni, and Fe in proportions shown within a pentagonal region II of the equilibrium diagram, the region II bounded by a line from the point B to the point C, a line from the point C to a point F(Cr: 0% by weight, Ni: 100% by weight, Fe: 0% by weight), a line from the point F to a point E(Cr: 0% by weight, Ni: 90% by weight, Fe: 10% by weight), a line from the point E to a point D(Cr: 20% by weight, Ni: 30% by weight, Fe: 50% by weight), and a line from the point D to the point B.

    摘要: In conducting the butt welding of a coated steel produced by applying a diffusion coating with aluminum or chromium on the surface of a chromium-molybdenum steel as the base metal, adoption of a process comprising welding the diffusion-coating side of said coated steel with a ferritic high chrome steel to begin with, next welding it with a molybdenum steel or chromium-molybdenum steel selected on the bases of the content of chromium and the content of molybdenum in the base metal, and lastly welding it with the same material as the base metal, varieties of such drawbacks as would ordinarily arise from the weld zone can be avoided.

    摘要: A rotary electrical machine connected to a rotary machine heated to high-temperature, such as a heater roll used for processing fibers, a ventilation fan for ventilating a high-temperature furnace, etc., includes a rotary shaft journaled by bearing means of the rotary electrical machine including a first member formed of material of low thermal conductivity for supporting a rotor, and a second member formed of material of high hardness constituting an output end portion of the rotary shaft remote from the bearing means. The first member and the second member are united together in a position located opposite the rotor with respect to the bearing means and spaced apart from the bearing means. Cooling means, such as a heat dissipating fan, heat dissipating fins, etc., is mounted on a portion of the rotary shaft between the vicinity of the joint of the two members and the bearing means. By this arrangement, a rise in the temperature of the bearing means of the rotary electrical machine can be avoided when the machine is connected to a rotary member of high-temperature, and the rotary member can be connected and disconnected readily and positively.
