    摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide a polynucleotide, which can effectively suppress the immunoreactivity caused by DNA having a CpG motif and which can be used for preventing and/or treating immune-mediated diseases such as arthritis. The present invention provides a polynucleotide comprising a CpG motif wherein guanine is methylated, and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the above-mentioned polynucleotide.

    摘要: An apparatus for controlling dissolved oxygen concentration in primary and secondary cooling water in boiling water and pressurized water atomic reactors is disclosed. The apparatus contains an electrolytic cell having an anode chamber and a cathode chamber separated from one another by a diaphragm of a solid polymer electrolyte membrane. The diaphragm contains: (a) an ion exchange membrane and (b) a pair of multilayered electrodes chemically plated to both surfaces of the ion exchange membrane. The electrolytic cell is operatively connected to a circular route for cooling water in the reactor, and hydrogen gas generated through electrolysis of deionized water in the cathode side of the cell is introduced into the circular route for the cooling water to control the dissolved oxygen concentration of the cooling water.

    摘要: The purpose of the invention is to provide an antibody which recognizes OPN N-half but does not recognize the full-length OPN, and its use. A monoclonal antibody which is characterized in that it recognizes a protein or polypeptide in which the C-terminal amino acid sequence is YGLR (SEQ ID NO: 1) and it substantially does not recognize a protein or polypeptide which has an amino acid sequence of YGLR outside of the C-terminal, as well as a method for measuring OPN N-half utilizing the said antibody, a method for diagnosing diseases relating to OPN N-half, a method for judging the severity of said disease, and a method for treating said diseases, are provided.
