A transmission operating apparatus for automatic transmission wherein, when a shift lever of the automatic transmission is shifted to a specific position such as a parking position, a detent pin provided for the shift lever is engaged with a movable body and is moved to a first position so as to be engaged with detent means so that the shift to another shift position is prevented. A lock is engaged with the movable body which has been moved, together with the detent pin, to the first shift position so that the lock means cannot be separated from the movable body if a driver does not perform any special operation such as footing the brake or the like. Therefore, the movable body cannot be moved to the second position, and the shift lever cannot be moved to another shift position. The movable body is positioned at the second position when the shift lever is positioned at another shift position, while the same is engaged with the detent pin immediately after the shift lever is operated to the specific position.

A wireless network communication system and method in which the wireless channel can be determined by selecting a vacant pseudonoise (PN) or spreading code. When communication is started, in order to judge whether a PN code is being employed by another communication group, the degree of correlation between the received signal converted to an intermediate frequency or a base-band frequency by a transceiver and a reference pseudonoise code signal is detected using a correlation circuit within a correlation detector. There is a channel controller which controls the PN code used by the communication terminal which receives an output of the correlation detector which correlates a received channel signal with a reference PN code generated by the PN code generator. If the correlation output signal is not smaller than a threshold value, it is determined that the PN code is to be employed. Furthermore, at the time of transmission, the pseudonoise code generator is controlled so as to supply the selected PN code to a transceiver. The transceiver combines the data to be transmitted with the PN code to be used in order to determine the final signal which is to be transmitted by the terminal.

This invention provides a method which makes it possible to reliably detect malfunctions during the ejecting step without rendering the injection molding machine more complicated. An ejector pin is incorporated in the movable die. This ejector pin is connected, via an ejector plate, a connecting rod, a connecting plate and a feed screw, with a servo motor. The force for ejecting the ejector pin pushing a molded product is measured from the driving torque of a servo motor. In this invention, the relationship between driving torque and elapsed time from the initiation of ejection of the molded product is stored as a reference pattern. The tolerance limit and monitoring interval of driving torque are preset relative to the reference pattern. When the value of driving torque falls outside the tolerance limit during the ejecting step, it is judged as a malfunction, and an alarm is generated to stop the machine in a safe state.

There is provided a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet which has none of the offset of an antistatic agent, the transfer of the antistatic agent onto a carrier roll of a thermal printer or the like, a lowering in whiteness, glossiness, and sensitivity in printing of the thermal transfer image-receiving sheet, and a remarkable lowering in coating strength under high-humidity environmental conditions and thus can realize stable and excellent antistatic properties. The thermal transfer image-receiving sheet comprises a substrate sheet and a dye-receptive layer provided on at least one side of the substrate sheet. An electrically conductive layer is provided as at least one layer between the substrate sheet and the receptive layer, or as at least one layer on the substrate sheet in its side remote from the receptive layer. The electrically conductive layer comprises electrically conductive synthetic phyllosilicate. By virtue of the incorporation of the electrically conductive synthetic phyllosilicate in the electrically conductive layer, the electrically conductive layer has good adhesion to the substrate sheet and other layers and has high glossiness, and the thermal transfer image-receiving sheet is free from a change in physical properties such as coating strength upon a change in environmental conditions and has excellent antistatic properties.
