摘要： A catalyst composition is provided comprising a homogeneous solid mixture having ordered directionally aligned tubular meso-channel pores having an average diameter in a range of about 1 nanometer to about 15 nanometers, wherein the homogeneous solid mixture is prepared from a gel formed in the presence of a solvent, modifier, an inorganic salt precursor of a catalytic metal, an inorganic precursor of a metal inorganic network, and a templating agent. The templating agent comprises an octylphenol ethoxylate having a structure [I]: wherein “n” is an integer having a value of about 8 to 20.

Yttrium is present in an amount from about 0.05 mol percent to about 3 mol percent of the substrate. The catalyst material includes a catalyst metal disposed on the templated metal oxide substrate.

The method comprises reacting a reactive solution and a templating agent to form a gel; and calcining the gel to form a catalyst composition comprising homogeneous solid mixture. The homogenous solid mixture contains (i) at least one catalytic metal and (ii) at least one metal inorganic network. The templating agent comprises an octylphenol ethoxylate having a structure [I]: wherein “n” is an integer having a value of about 8 to 20. A catalyst composition prepared using the templating agent having a structure [1] is also provided.

摘要： Systems and methods are described for creating composed communication services within a gateway to a telecom network. Composed communication services are virtual services which can be created by a network operator and which combine two or more actual communication services that perform functionality in the telecom network. For example, a composed messaging service can be created for a client, which combines methods from the MMS and SMS communication services. Subsequently, when the client invokes either SMS or MMS services in the gateway, those invocations will be counted against the composed service and the SLA and policy control will be applied against it accordingly.

摘要： The present invention describes methods for preparing high quality nanoparticles, i.e., metal oxide based nanoparticles of uniform size and monodispersity. The nanoparticles advantageously comprise organic alkyl chain capping groups and are stable in air and in nonpolar solvents. The methods of the invention provide a simple and reproducible procedure for forming transition metal oxide nanocrystals, with yields over 80%. The highly crystalline and monodisperse nanocrystals are obtained directly without further size selection; particle size can be easily and fractionally increased by the methods. The resulting nanoparticles can exhibit magnetic and/or optical properties. These properties result from the methods used to prepare them. Also advantageously, the nanoparticles of this invention are well suited for use in a variety of industrial applications, including cosmetic and pharmaceutical formulations and compositions.
