摘要: When the low bit rate coding is effected in a recording system 1A, a signal is coded and recorded in a hierarchical structure. On the reproduction side, the type of a recorded signal (the low bit rate coded signal of the hierarchical structure, non-hierarchical structure, conventional analog recording or the like) is determined by a determination system 1E and the operation modes of a digital signal processing system 1G and an analog signal processing system 1F are set. The analog signal processing system processes a reproduced signal when it is analog signal. The digital signal processing system processes a reproduced signal when it is a digital signal or when a reproduced output from the analog signal processing system is processed in a digital manner. Further, hierarchical decoding G30 and inverse converting G40 are provided, a signal processed in the hierarchical structure can be restored to an original form, and the restored reproduced signal can be processed by use of system conversion G60 and converted to a desired system and output. As a result, various types of input video signals can be recorded in a preset form and various forms of recorded video signals can be reproduced and output in a desired form. Further, an analog recorded signal can be reproduced and output after converted to a desired form.

摘要: An electrically heated catalyst device includes a catalyst support including a ceramics, on which a catalyst is supported, a pair of surface electrodes disposed on an outer surface of the catalyst support, the surface electrodes being disposed opposite to each other and extending in an axial direction of the catalyst support, and a wiring line that externally supplies electric power to the surface electrodes, in which the catalyst support is electrically heated through the surface electrodes. A wrought member made of metal is buried in the surface electrodes, the wrought member extending in the axial direction of the catalyst support. With the configuration like this, the spreading of electric currents in the catalyst-support axis direction can be maintained even when cracks occur in the catalyst-support circumference direction in the surface electrodes.

摘要: An electrode according to one aspect of the present invention is formed on a base material composed of a ceramics. The electrodes includes a matrix composed of an Ni-Cr alloy (with a Cr content of 20 to 60 wt. %) or an MCrAlY alloy (M is at least one material selected from Fe, Co and Ni), and a disperse phase that is dispersed in the matrix and composed of an oxide mineral having a laminated structure. The ratio of area occupied by the disperse phase in a cross section of the electrode is 40 to 80%. With the structure like this, it is possible to suppress the increase in the electrical resistance even after a thermal cycle is performed.

摘要: A separator of a fuel cell includes a base material and a surface treatment layer formed on the base material. The surface treatment layer includes a base material-side portion made from metal and a base material opposite-side portion made from carbon formed at an atom level or composite materials of carbon and metal or semi-metal. The surface treatment layer may further include carbon particle composite layer formed on the base material opposite-side portion formed at an atom level. In a manufacturing method of the above separator of a fuel cell, the base material opposite-side portion is formed by dry coating.
