    摘要: A vehicle-mounted internal combustion engine has a variable lift mechanism for varying the valve lift of an intake valve. During deceleration of the vehicle, an ECU performs fuel cutoff control for temporarily stopping supply of fuel to the engine. During the fuel cutoff control, the ECU performs throttle opening increase control as necessary to set the opening degree of a throttle valve greater than a usual target opening degree that is set when an acceleration pedal is not depressed. If the throttle opening increase control is being performed when resumption of the fuel supply is required during the fuel cutoff control, the ECU controls the variable lift mechanism such that the valve lift is reduced compared to a situation where the throttle opening increase control is not being performed.

    摘要: A diagnostic system for an automatic transmission is provided in which a microcomputer determines that torque that can drive the driving wheels of the vehicle is not transmitted to an output shaft of the automatic transmission when the vehicle is stopped and the ignition key is operated to the OFF position, and performs forced energization of solenoids of solenoid valves associated with respective friction devices of the transmission, while monitoring current passing through the solenoid valves. If the current monitored does not match the current for energizing any of the solenoids, the microcomputer determines that the corresponding solenoid valve is at fault. Thus, the diagnostic system appropriately determines the presence of a fault of each solenoid valve for controlling the hydraulic pressure to each friction device, with increased flexibility and freedom.

    摘要: A shift control system is mounted on a vehicle that includes a transmission. The transmission includes a multi-gear shifting mechanism. Also, the transmission is configured to shift a speed of rotational power from an engine in response to a shift request and to output the rotational power to a drive wheel side. The shift control system includes a detecting unit and a control unit. The detecting unit detects the shift request. When the detecting unit has detected a multiple-gear skip downshift request as the shift request from a first gear to a second gear, the control unit executes shift control that includes a skip shift from the first gear to a predetermined intermediate-speed gear and a sequential shift from the predetermined intermediate-speed gear to the second gear, the first gear been higher by multiple gears than the predetermined intermediate-speed gear.

    摘要: A speed changing control apparatus for use in a vehicle includes: a driving power source configured to generate driving power for running; a transmission having a synchromesh mechanism configured to synchronize an input shaft revolution number with an output shaft revolution number and an actuator configured to automatically carry out a shift operation; and an automatic clutch disposed between the driving power source and the transmission. The speed changing control apparatus is configured to start a shift disengaging operation for the transmission after a speed change is requested and before the automatic clutch turns into a decoupled state, so as to suppress torsional vibration at the time of decoupling the automatic clutch. Such control enables the synchromesh mechanism to carry out revolution synchronization with the input shaft revolution number of the transmission in a lowered state, and diminishes a revolution difference subjected to synchronization.
