    摘要: A multi-stage automatic transmission using a reduction planetary gear and a planetary gear set in which the respective thrust forces generated thereat are supported by a low bearing load or a low case load. The automatic transmission is provided with a reduction planetary gear, coupled to an input shaft to fix a reaction force element so as to output a reduction rotation to an output element, and a planetary gear set, that outputs a speed shift rotation upon input of the subsequent reduction rotation. During at least first gear driving, there is provided a force transmission route in which thrust forces generated at one element of the reduction planetary gear and one element of the planetary gear set, respectively, are transmitted. In that route, a torsion direction of the helical teeth of the respective elements are set such that a direction of a thrust force of the element and a direction of the thrust force of the other element are different from each other during first gear driving.

    摘要: A hydraulic control system includes switching mechanisms for receiving as a signal voltage a hydraulic pressure which is output from each shifting mechanism when all units of the shifting mechanisms are caused to output a hydraulic pressure, and being responsive to the reception of the signal pressure to be switched to a predetermined state for blocking a hydraulic-pressure supply path to specific hydraulic servos, thereby achieving a specific speed out of a plurality of speeds; and supply switching mechanisms provided in a hydraulic-pressure supply path to a hydraulic servo which is not included in the specific hydraulic servos, for switching between supply and cut-off of the hydraulic pressure to the hydraulic servo so as to assure two speeds in the event of the signal failure in a hydraulic control system for individually controlling engaging elements in an automatic transmission by using electric signals.

    摘要: There is provided control over transmission stages which suppresses unnecessary shifts to a higher speed based on road information stored in a navigation system to allow smooth acceleration. An intersection ahead of the vehicle in the traveling direction is detected based on the road information stored in the navigation system and, when the vehicle is decelerated as it approaches the intersection, an optimum transmission stage for acceleration is selected in advance in accordance with the speed of the vehicle by predicting the acceleration to be performed when exiting the intersection. This eliminates the need for a shift to a lower speed before effecting acceleration by pressing the accelerator and thereby ensures smooth acceleration.

    摘要: A neutral start switch has a base on which stationary contacts are arranged and a rotor on which movable contacts capable of contacting the stationary contacts are disposed. The stationary contacts include reverse lamp contacts connected to a reverse lamp lighting circuit, position stationary contacts connected to a position signal circuit provided in an electronic control device, and starter stationary contacts connected to a starter motor driving circuit. The contacts are arranged so that contact portions of the movable contacts that contact the reverse lamp stationary contacts are different from contact portions of the movable contacts that contact the other stationary contacts, thereby preventing carbonized powder produced by spark at the time of the closure and opening of the reverse lamp contacts from causing a contact failure of another contact.
