摘要: The invention relates to a method for the production of a template-textured material by synthesis of a template-textured polymer (TTP) by performing crosslinking polymerization of functional monomers on a support in the presence of a template, which method is characterized in that a support having a thin polymer layer on the surface thereof is added with a reaction mixture consisting of polymerization initiator, template, functional monomer, crosslinker, solvent and/or buffer and, following sorption of the reaction mixture in the thin polymer layer, the polymerization is initiated and continued until the absorption capacity of the thin polymer layer for the template-textured polymer (TTP) is reached, and the template is optionally removed in a final step, the support used being selected in such a way that it cannot absorb the reaction solution. The materials of the invention are remarkable for their high binding specificity and selectivity for the template.

摘要: Template-textured materials in the form of template-textured polymers (TGP) on various surfaces including membranes (i.e, template-textured membranes). Such materials are created by modifying the surface of solid carriers, which, by cross-linking polymerization of functional monomers initiated on the surface of said solid carriers in the presence of a template, leads to stable template prints that subsequently bind template molecules or template derivatives in a specific manner. The invention also relates to methods for the production of TGPs and to the use thereof for substance-specific separation of materials.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for the parallel and combinatory synthesis of compounds bound to a continuous polymeric solid phase supporting material. According to the method, a continuous polymeric solid phase supporting material is prepared, the material comprising a matrix of a supporting polymeric material and graft copolymer chains covalently bound to the supporting matrix, the graft copolymer chains having reactive groups being able to react with organic compounds, thereby forming spatially defined reaction sites. The method then comprises the sequential spotting of synthesis building blocks or reagents at the various reaction sites on the continuous solid phase supporting material to yield a substrate library of compounds bound to the solid phase supporting material, whereby each reaction site on the continuous solid phase supporting material determines the composition of the synthesized compound, which is bound directly on the supporting matrix via the reactive groups of the graft polymer chain.

摘要: The present invention teaches a novel approach of creating biocmpatible surfaces, said surfaces being capable of functionally interact with biological material. SAid biocompatible surfaces comrise at least two comonents, such as a hydrophobic substratum and a macromolecule of hydrophilic nature, which, in a cooperativity, form together the novel biocoompatible surfaces. The novel approach is ased on contacting said hydrophobic substratum with a laterally patterned monomolecular layer of said hydrophilic and flexible macromolecules, exhibiting a pronounced excluded volume. The htus formed two component surface is, in respect to polarity and morphology, a molecularly heterogeneous surface. Structural features of said macromolecular monolayer (as e.g. the layer thickness or its lateral density) are determined by: i) the structural features of the layer forming macromolecules (as e.g. their MW or their molecular architecture) and ii) the method of creating said monomolecular layer (as e.g. by physi- or chemisorbing, or by chemically binding said macromolecules). The structural features of the layer forming macromolecules(s) is in turn determined by synthesis. AMount and conformation and thus also biological activity of biological material (as e.g. polypeptides) which contact the novel biocompatible surface, is determined and maintained by the cooperative action of the underlying hydrophobic substratum and the macromolecular layer. In this way it becomes possible to maintain and control biological interactions between said contacted polypeptides and other biological compounds as e.g. cells, antibodies and the like. Consequently, the present invention aims to reduce and/or eliminate the deactivation and/or denaturation associated with the contacting of polypeptides and/or other biological material to a hydrophobic substratum surface.
