Abstract:
The dispenser outlet (13) is microbiologically sealingly closeable by a valve stopple (25) which closes counter flow direction (11). Outlet 13 is manually reversely opened prior to the pump stroke against a spring (34). The medium reaches outlet (13) via throttles (22, 21, 49). Thus the medium creeps practically non-pressurized to an adhering face (51) of a droplet former (50). There the medium accumulates to a droplet suspending in the upside-down position. The medium contained in the dispenser (1) is effectively protected from germ contamination and the droplet may be simply administered to an eye or the like.
Abstract:
A medical luminaire for photodynamic diagnosis. The medical luminaire including: a broad-band lamp for generating broad-band background light; a semiconductor lamp for generating short-wave excitation light, wherein the semiconductor lamp comprises a laser diode, the light from which is fed alternatively or additionally into a light path of the broad-band lamp, and a light fibre bundle for transporting the light, wherein the excitation light is transported in a partial bundle.
Abstract:
In a discharge apparatus (1) on a basic body (8) is provided a pneumatic pump (19) and axially adjacent thereto a casing chamber (14) for receiving a magazine (15) for individual doses of a pulverulent or similar medium, whose magazine chamber (30) can be transferred into a discharge position, in which it is connected by one inlet end (46) and one outlet end (47) to a feed path (20) for the pumped air. At remote ends of the basic body (8) are provided pressure handles (5, 6) for the discharge actuation and a handle (7) for indexing or replacing a magazine body (16). Opening devices (50, 51) are used for the automatic opening of the magazine chamber (30) on transfer into the discharge position. This leads to a very reliable operation in the case of compact construction and easy handling.
Abstract:
The thrust piston pump of a delivery apparatus for liquid media and the like is provided with a valve arrangement in the suction passage. The valve arrangement has two valve seats acting in opposing manner and is associated with a single common valve body. This permits a rapid transfer of the valve body into the closed position engaging on the valve seat, particularly during operation in an inverted position. In addition, the discharge passage has a mechanically openable discharge valve which can be simply opened by displacing the actuating head of the pump with respect to a collar of the pump piston.

Abstract:
1. Dosing device with a dosing casing in one or more parts. 2.1. A dosing device with a dosing casing in one or more parts and with which are associated a pumping unit and a manually operable actuating unit, in which the dosing casing includes at least one dosing opening is known. 2.2. According to the invention the dosing casing has a jacket enveloping the pumping unit and on which is integrally shaped at least one actuating member mounted in elastically pivotable manner between a rest position and an actuating position. 2.3. Use for dosing cosmetic media.
Abstract:
A medical light for illuminating fluorescent areas. The medical light including: at least one light-emitting diode with at least one luminophore layer for converting short-wave light into broad-band light; and a control device for controlling illumination from the at least one light-emitting diode, wherein the control device controls a ratio between converted and unconverted light and the converted and unconverted light are emitted over a common light guide.

Abstract:
A discharging apparatus (1) is arranged in substantially completely inserted or plunged manner in a storage vessel (2) with a locking flange (30), which forms an opening (40) for the at least partial reception of the operating head (20) and engages round the vessel neck (7) in the manner of a hang-in profile. The locking flange (30) carries a securing body (50) for the snap retaining of closure cap lid. Thus, there is a very compact arrangement of the discharging apparatus (1) in such a way that the latter only insignificantly increases the total length of the storage vessel (2).
Abstract:
For the manual discharge of a pulverulent medium a discharge apparatus (1) has an air pump (9), whose compressed air flow receives the powder medium via an injector (37) and a turbulence chamber (38) from a dosing mechanism (25) automatically refillable from a medium reservoir (4) and is discharged accompanied by acceleration through an outlet channel (21). Thus, with a compact construction and easy handling, the production of an aerosol for inhalation purposes or the like is ensured in simple manner.
