    摘要: A throttle control apparatus includes an electrical drive unit for electrically driving a throttle of an internal combustion engine and a mechanical drive unit for driving the throttle through the operation of an accelerator by a driver. In the case where an abnormality is generated in the electrical drive unit, the driving of the throttle by the electrical drive unit is interrupted and the throttle is thereinstead driven by the mechanical drive unit. The mechanical drive unit is provided with a throttle opening angle control member. The throttle control apparatus further includes a torque control unit for suppressing an increase in output torque of the internal combustion engine in the case where a throttle opening angle is increased in the direction of an opening angle set by the throttle opening angle control member when the driving of the throttle by the electrical drive unit is interrupted.

    摘要: A throttle control apparatus serves to control a degree of opening of a throttle valve via an actuator. The throttle valve is provided in an air induction passage of an internal combustion engine. The throttle control apparatus includes a throttle opening degree sensor for detecting the degree of opening of the throttle valve. An engine operating condition detecting device is operative to detect an operating condition of the engine. A throttle opening degree estimating device is operative to estimate the degree of opening of the throttle valve on the basis of the operating condition of the engine which is detected by the engine operating condition detecting device. A memorizing means serves to memorize a corrective quantity. A corrective quantity updating device is operative to update the corrective quantity memorized by the memorizing device on the basis of a difference between an output value from the throttle opening degree sensor and an estimated value from the throttle opening degree estimating device. A control device serves to adjust a controlled quantity of the actuator in response to the output value from the throttle opening degree sensor and the corrective quantity memorized by the memorizing device to control the degree of opening of the throttle valve.

    摘要: An apparatus for controlling intake air flow rate in an internal combustion engine comprises a throttle valve disposed in intake air passage for swing movement to change a flow rate of air to be supplied to combustion chambers of the engine, a stopper portion to which the throttle valve is abutted so as to stop swinging thereof in a full closed portion thereof, a spring for continually urging the throttle valve towards the full closed position, a control unit for determining a desired opening degree of the throttle valve in accordance with requirements on the engine, an actuator for generating a driving force for swinging the throttle valve to the desired opening degree in accordance with a command signal from the control unit, and geared mechanism for transmitting the driving force from the actuator to the throttle valve. The geared mechanism includes a pair of gears, each having a gear tooth portion. The gears are able to engage with each other exclusively at such gear tooth portions. The gear tooth portion so extends that both of the gear tooth portions mesh with each other between full closed position and full open position of the throttle valve, and they are pushed out of mesh with each other over full open position of the throttle valve.

    摘要: A throttle control device for a vehicle engine enables adjustment of pedal feeling of an accelerator pedal in accordance with a state of operation of the engine. A throttle valve provided in an intake pipe of an engine is actuated to vary its opening by a stepping motor. The accelerator pedal is provided with an accelerator opening sensor 10 which detects an amount of step down or operation of the accelerator pedal. The engine is provided with a water temperature sensor capable of detecting a temperature of cooling water circulated through the engine. A shift lever device is provided with a shift position sensor capable of sensing a range to which the shift lever has been operated. A CPU sets an amount of play of the accelerator pedal, i.e., a width of an insensitive zone, in accordance with the temperature of the cooling water detected by the water temperature sensor and the shift position detected by the shift position sensor. The CPU controls the stepping motor to attain a throttle opening corresponding to the accelerator operation amount after correction of the latter in accordance with the set amount of play of accelerator pedal operation.

    摘要: A traction control system controls the engine torque so as to prevent wheel slip during acceleration. The system has an electric control unit ECU which detects the state of wheel slip on the basis of the deviation of the drive wheel speed from a target drive wheel speed computed in accordance with signals from various sensors such as drive wheel speed sensors, trailing wheel speed sensors, shift position sensor for sensing the shift position in an electronic control transmission ECT, engine speed sensor and accelerator sensor for sensing the amount of operation of accelerator. The ECU computes, in accordance with the state of the slip, a limit drive torque which does not allow surplus wheel slip during acceleration. The ECU also updates the limit drive torque depending on whether the surplus slip takes place on drive wheels, and detects also the amount of operation of the accelerator so as to inhibit updating of the limit drive torque when the detected amount of operation of accelerator is below a value corresponding to a limit throttle opening, whereby the engine is controlled such that the drive torque applied to the drive wheels is maintained below the limit drive torque.
