    摘要: An apparatus that detects a reference position of a throttle valve. The throttle valve is forced in either a valve opening direction or a valve closing directions by an urging member. A DC motor, which is connected to the throttle valve, drives the throttle valve against the force created by the urging member within a rotatable angle that is restricted by a stopper. A throttle valve opening sensor detects an opening angle of the throttle valve. A lock current detecting circuit detects a lock current created by the DC motor when the DC motor is brought into contact with the stopper. A throttle valve reference position renewing circuit updates the reference position, which is memorized in a throttle valve reference position memory, on the basis of an opening angle of the throttle valve, which is detected by the throttle valve opening sensor, when the lock current detecting circuit detects the lock current.

    摘要: A throttle control apparatus serves to control a degree of opening of a throttle valve via an actuator. The throttle valve is provided in an air induction passage of an internal combustion engine. The throttle control apparatus includes a throttle opening degree sensor for detecting the degree of opening of the throttle valve. An engine operating condition detecting device is operative to detect an operating condition of the engine. A throttle opening degree estimating device is operative to estimate the degree of opening of the throttle valve on the basis of the operating condition of the engine which is detected by the engine operating condition detecting device. A memorizing means serves to memorize a corrective quantity. A corrective quantity updating device is operative to update the corrective quantity memorized by the memorizing device on the basis of a difference between an output value from the throttle opening degree sensor and an estimated value from the throttle opening degree estimating device. A control device serves to adjust a controlled quantity of the actuator in response to the output value from the throttle opening degree sensor and the corrective quantity memorized by the memorizing device to control the degree of opening of the throttle valve.

    摘要: A vehicle slip control system for controlling a wheel slip based on a friction coefficient of a road surface measures an engine torque T.sub.E by applying an intake pipe negative pressure Pm and a number of engine revolutions Ne to an engine model. A drive torque T is measured by applying the engine torque T.sub.E to an A/T model, and a driving wheel acceleration d.omega. is obtained by finding a difference of a detected driving wheel speed .omega.. By filtering this driving wheel acceleration d.omega., a post-filter driving wheel acceleration d.omega..sub.0 is calculated. A squat force Ws is calculated from the drive-torque T and the post-filter driving wheel acceleration d.omega., and a friction coefficient .mu. of the road surface is estimated from the squat force Ws. The estimated friction coefficient .mu. is used to control a wheel slip.

    摘要: A throttle control apparatus includes an electrical drive unit for electrically driving a throttle of an internal combustion engine and a mechanical drive unit for driving the throttle through the operation of an accelerator by a driver. In the case where an abnormality is generated in the electrical drive unit, the driving of the throttle by the electrical drive unit is interrupted and the throttle is thereinstead driven by the mechanical drive unit. The mechanical drive unit is provided with a throttle opening angle control member. The throttle control apparatus further includes a torque control unit for suppressing an increase in output torque of the internal combustion engine in the case where a throttle opening angle is increased in the direction of an opening angle set by the throttle opening angle control member when the driving of the throttle by the electrical drive unit is interrupted.

    摘要: A throttle valve control apparatus for internal combustion engine stabilizes the engine speed in idle operation by always correcting the full closing reference position in ISC using a single throttle valve. Signals of a neutral position signal, air conditioner signal, electrical load signal, accelerator position signal, engine speed, and water temperature are inputted to a CPU in an electronic control unit via an input circuit. The CPU calculates such a throttle opening as to make the actual speed of the internal combustion engine in idle operation equal to a target speed in idle operation stored beforehand, compares the throttle opening with preset upper limit value and lower limit value of the throttle opening in idle operation, and corrects the full closing reference position of the throttle opening on the basis of the result of comparison. As a result, the full closing reference position in the throttle opening of the throttle valve is always corrected.

    摘要: A throttle control device for a vehicle engine enables adjustment of pedal feeling of an accelerator pedal in accordance with a state of operation of the engine. A throttle valve provided in an intake pipe of an engine is actuated to vary its opening by a stepping motor. The accelerator pedal is provided with an accelerator opening sensor 10 which detects an amount of step down or operation of the accelerator pedal. The engine is provided with a water temperature sensor capable of detecting a temperature of cooling water circulated through the engine. A shift lever device is provided with a shift position sensor capable of sensing a range to which the shift lever has been operated. A CPU sets an amount of play of the accelerator pedal, i.e., a width of an insensitive zone, in accordance with the temperature of the cooling water detected by the water temperature sensor and the shift position detected by the shift position sensor. The CPU controls the stepping motor to attain a throttle opening corresponding to the accelerator operation amount after correction of the latter in accordance with the set amount of play of accelerator pedal operation.

    摘要: A traction control system controls the engine torque so as to prevent wheel slip during acceleration. The system has an electric control unit ECU which detects the state of wheel slip on the basis of the deviation of the drive wheel speed from a target drive wheel speed computed in accordance with signals from various sensors such as drive wheel speed sensors, trailing wheel speed sensors, shift position sensor for sensing the shift position in an electronic control transmission ECT, engine speed sensor and accelerator sensor for sensing the amount of operation of accelerator. The ECU computes, in accordance with the state of the slip, a limit drive torque which does not allow surplus wheel slip during acceleration. The ECU also updates the limit drive torque depending on whether the surplus slip takes place on drive wheels, and detects also the amount of operation of the accelerator so as to inhibit updating of the limit drive torque when the detected amount of operation of accelerator is below a value corresponding to a limit throttle opening, whereby the engine is controlled such that the drive torque applied to the drive wheels is maintained below the limit drive torque.

    摘要: During engine warm-up, a flow regulating unit in a cooling system operates in a fuel efficiency priority mode. In this mode, a head-side cooling water flow rate (Qhd) is regulated to be equal to or smaller than a first upper limit; a block-side cooling water flow rate (Qbk) is regulated to be equal to or smaller than a second upper limit; and cooling water flowing out of a block-side passage and a head-side passage flows mainly into a bypass passage. When a heating request to heat blown air is made during engine warm-up, the regulating unit operates in a heating priority mode. In this mode, Qhd is regulated to be equal to or smaller than a third upper limit; Qbk is regulated to be equal to or smaller than a fourth upper limit; and at least cooling water flowing out of the head-side passage flows into a heat exchanger.
