摘要: Polyimide layers having special properties are formed on the bottom surface of a metallic body for a metal-based semiconductor circuit substrate with a polyimide layer as an insulator. There are four lamination methods: (a) a method in which a layer of thermoplastic polyimide resin (1) and a layer of non-thermoplastic polyimide resin are laminated on the bottom surface of the metallic body one over another in this order, (b) a method in which a layer of thermoplastic polyimide resin (1), a layer of non-thermoplastic polyimide resin and a layer of thermoplastic polyimide resin (2) are laminated on the bottom surface of a metallic body one over another in this order, (c) a method in which a layer of non-thermoplastic polyimide resin is laminated on the bottom surface of a metallic body and (d) a method in which a layer of thermoplastic polyimide resin (2) is laminated on the bottom surface of a metallic body. The resulting semiconductor circuit substrate has improved properties: flat joins to connect external terminals, small variations in shape due to temperature changes, the mounting properties to a mother board, the absorption efficiency of infrared rays during solder reflowing, plating resistance and the bonding reliability to other objects.

摘要: A compact and low-cost electromagnetic wave generator in which X-rays having high intensity can be generated and the energy of generated X-rays can rapidly be switched. In an electromagnetic wave generator including a circular accelerator, a deflection electromagnet incorporated in the circular accelerator focuses injected and accelerated electrons, The circular accelerator produces stable electron closed orbits in a region with a predetermined width in the radial direction of the accelerator that are stable during injection and acceleration of electron. A target is arranged across the stable electron closed orbits and a collision region, where a circulating electron beam collides with the target and a non-collision region where a circulating electron beam does not collide with the target produced. Through control of respective patterns of changes with time in the deflection magnetic field, a given electron closed orbit is shifted between the collision and the non-collision regions, thereby generating X-rays.

摘要: A front bumper has a grill 1 in which a plurality of opening sections 31 are arranged in an aligned pattern. Further, wall sections 50 are formed in the respective opening sections so that each wall section stands upright on a lower section 47 of each of frame sections 31 defining the opening sections 30 of the grill 21 and so that an upper edge section 48 conforms to an upper section 49 of the frame section 31. The line of sight of the person viewing a vehicle from an upwardly oblique position is interrupted as a result of the wall sections 50 overlapping the upper sections 49 of the frame sections 31.
