    摘要: A pressure regulating valve in a hydraulic control system for an automatic transmission according including a pressure regulating unit having a spool made slidable in a valve sleeve 10. An electromagnetic unit for causing a hollow core (or stator) is provided to attract a plunger (or movable element) arranged on a push rod communicating with the spool. The spool is moved by a spool moving mechanism in a direction to increase the flow from an input port to an output port to thereby raise an output pressure from an output port when the output pressure is lowered by a leakage. The spool position is controlled to control the output pressure in accordance with a balance among a spring force of spring means fitted in the valve sleeve, a feedback force resulting from the output pressure, and an electromagnetic attraction to be established in response to an electric signal provided to the electromagnetic unit having the hollow core and the plunger. In another embodiment, an input pressure feedback port is provided in the valve sleeve, and spool position control is additionally dependent upon an input pressure feedback force provided to the input pressure feedback port.

    摘要: A linear solenoid valve is composed of a pressure regulating section and an actuator section. In the pressure regulating section, a valve spool is slidably disposed and is biased in one direction by a single elastic member. The actuator section generates a thrust force and transmits that generated thrust force in an opposite direction to the pressure regulating section via a shaft. The actuator section is a movable magnet type linear actuator which includes three serially disposed coils and two permanent magnets disposed within the coils with like poles of the permanent magnets facing each other. The linear solenoid valve generates a stable control pressure which is large in proportion to input current, while generation of hysteresis and of radial load in the actuator section is avoided and responsiveness is improved.

    摘要: By bending and stretching a link mechanism, both left and right wheels of a vehicle can be inclined toward inside of cornering to generate a camber thrust as a lateral force, i.e. an increase in cornering force. Further, by bending and stretching the link mechanism, the passenger compartment can be inclined in accordance with inclination of a connecting link, and thus the center of gravity of the vehicle can be moved toward its inner wheel during cornering. By preventing lifting of the inner wheel during cornering, cornering performance is improved. Because the passenger compartment is inclined toward the inner wheel during cornering, centrifugal force is less likely to be felt by the occupant.

    摘要: A control system for a vehicular automatic transmission which detects running status of the vehicle and includes a shift controller for controlling the gear stage of the automatic transmission in accordance with the detected running status of the vehicle. The control system further includes a memory for prestoring road information for roads to be run by the vehicle, present location detection and running direction detection. A reader reads out the road information for a set route from the present location to a destination, from the memory, on the basis of the detected present location and the destination input. The engine power required for the vehicle to travel the set route is estimated in accordance with the read road information. A shift schedule which minimizes the fuel consumption on the set route is determined by comparing the estimated engine power requirement with a prestored mileage map and the shift control pattern is changed in accordance with the determined shift schedule.
