摘要: In connection with the manufacture of zinc hot dip galvanized or galvannealed steel strip using a high strength, high tensile steel strip containing Si, Mn or Cr as a starting steel strip, the invention provides a method for hot dip galvanizing a high tensile steel strip with minimal bare spots which can manufacture a bare spot-free steel strip of quality in an inexpensive manner while minimizing process complications and lowered productivity. The invention is achieved by subjecting a cold rolled steel strip containing at least one component of 0.1 to 2.0% of Si, 0.5 to 2.0% of Mn, and 0.1 to 2.0% of Cr and optionally further containing up to 0.2% of P, in % by weight, to recrystallization annealing in a continuous annealing line, cooling the steel strip, removing a steel component concentrated layer at the surface of the steel strip by polishing and/or pickling, subjecting the steel strip again to heat reduction at a temperature from 650.degree. C. to a recrystallization temperature and to hot dip galvanizing in a continuous galvanizing line, and optionally effecting overplating and/or alloying or effecting alloying followed by overplating.

摘要: An electrolytic processing method for electrolytically processing the surface of a metallic member. A paste containing an electrolyte is prepared by mixing a paste-forming agent with a liquid electrolyte. The paste is placed between the metallic member and an opposing electrode. The metallic member and the opposing electrode are connected to an electrical power supply so that an electrical current is made to flow between the metallic member and the opposing electrode through the paste containing electrolyte, whereby the surface of the metallic member is electrolytically processed. Descaling, passivity treatment, coloring, polishing, plating and other electrolytic process can be performed on any type of metallic member at any desired place, by suitably selecting factors such as the compositon of the paste, condition of the electrical power supply and so forth.

摘要: The invention provides an aluminum alloy sheet having improved formability, an elongation of at least 30%, a sliding frictional resistance of up to 0.13 and minimized surface pressure dependency of sliding frictional resistance, comprising an aluminum alloy substrate containing at least 4 wt % of Mg and a Fe rich plating layer on a surface thereof in a coating weight of 1 to 50 g/m.sup.2. Also provided is a bake hardenable, surface treated aluminum alloy sheet having improved formability, an elongation of at least 25%, a sliding frictional resistance of up to 0.13 and minimized surface pressure dependency of sliding frictional resistance, comprising a bake hardenable aluminum alloy substrate containing Mg and Si in an amount of at least 0.4 wt % calculated as Mg.sub.2 Si and a Fe rich plating layer on a surface thereof in coating weight of 1 to 50 g/m.sup.2. By forming a zincate layer as an undercoat below the Fe rich plating layer, the plating adhesion is further improved. The preferred Fe rich plating layer is a Fe-Zn alloy plating layer containing 20 to 80 wt % of Zn for corrosion resistance improvement. A Fe-Zn alloy plating layer containing 30 to 40 wt % of Zn meets both formability and corrosion resistance.

摘要: An electrolytic process for forming a pattern on a metallic object makes use of a screen of electrically insulating material having a perforated pattern corresponding to the pattern to be formed on the metallic object. A paste containing an electrolyte is applied to the surface of the metallic object through the pattern of the screen. Electric current is supplied between the metallic object and an electrode placed in contact with the electrolyte-containing paste so that electrolysis takes place through the pattern of the screen on the surface of the metallic object. Disclosed also is an electrolytic apparatus suitable for use in carrying out the method.
