    摘要: The present invention comprises a process for coating a substrate with a polymeric coating that adheres to the substrate and that has non-stick properties, comprising the sequential steps of: a. Preparing a solid powder comprising a thermoplastic polymer and a thermoset polymer, at least one polymer having adhesive properties and at least one polymer having non-stick properties, or comprising a single polymer having both adhesive and non-stick properties; b. Applying the solid powder onto a substrate comprising a substantially flat surface; c. Heating the substrate to a temperature sufficient to cause the powder to become sufficiently fluid to coat said substrate; and d. Forming the coated substrate into the desired shape.

    摘要: The instant invention provides an aqueous dispersion, a coating composition, coating layers and coated article made therefrom. The coating composition according to the present invention comprises: (1) the inventive aqueous dispersion comprising the melt blending product of: (a) from 50 to 99 percent by weight of one or more first polyesters, based on the total solid content of the dispersion, wherein said one or more first polyesters have an acid number in the range of from less than 15, for example less than 10, or in the alternative less than 5, based on the total solid content of the one or more first polyesters; (b) from 1 to 50 percent by weight of one or more stabilizing agents comprising at least one second polyester, based on the total solid content of the dispersion, wherein said second polyester has a carboxylic acid group and an acid number equal to or greater than 15, for example greater than 20, based on the solid content of the second polyester; (c) one or more neutralizing agents; and (d) from 15 to 90 percent by weight of water, based on the total weight of the dispersion; wherein said dispersion has a solid content of 10 to 85 percent, based on the total weight of the dispersion; and (2) one or more cross-linking agents.

    摘要: A composition for preparing a corrosion resistant coating for a bulk substrate, said composition comprising: a cross-linkable hydrolyzed polymer; and a cross-linking agent, wherein the cross-linking agent is present in an amount sufficient to cross link about 21.8% to 65.4% of the crosslinkable groups in the cross-linkable hydrolyzed polymer. Also, a method of inhibiting corrosion of a bulk substrate comprising: dissolving a cross-linkable hydrolyzed polymer in an organic solvent to generate a cross-linkable hydrolyzed polymer solution; adding a cross-linking agent to said cross-linkable hydrolyzed polymer solution in an amount sufficient to generate a cross-linked hydrolyzed polymer with about 21.8% to 65.4% cross-linked hydroxyl groups; and applying said cross-linked hydrolyzed polymer to said bulk substrate. Also, a coated bulk substrate, comprising: a bulk substrate; a corrosion resistant coating comprising a cross-linked hydrolyzed polymer with about 21.8% to 65.4% cross-linking; wherein said corrosion resistant coating is in contact with at least a portion of a surface of said bulk substrate.
