摘要: The present application relates to a biological tissue transfer method for transferring a biological target tissue within the body, the method comprising: (a) attaching part of a first traction member to a first position which is different from a connecting position at which the target tissue is connected to other biological tissue; (b) attaching part of a second traction member to a second position which serves as the apex of a triangle formed together with the connecting position and the first position that surrounds the target site; (c) extending the first traction member in the direction from the connecting position to the first position, and extending the second traction member in the direction from the connecting position to the second position; and (d) transferring the target tissue within the body by applying traction on the first traction member and the second traction member respectively.

摘要: An endoscope holding device includes an insertion part that is long and holds the distal end part of an endoscope so as to freely protrude and retract; a distal end face that specifies a protruding direction of the endoscope, and is formed at the distal end of the insertion part, a displacement part which has a displacement face that is curved from the distal end toward a proximal end and provided at a position apart from the distal end face in order to displace living body tissue in front of the insertion part to secure a space for operating the distal end part of the endoscope protruded from the distal end face to curve; and a fixing portion that fixes the displacement part and the insertion part such that the distal end side of the displacement face intersects a direction orthogonal to the distal end face.

摘要: A method is provided to collect liquid, such as pancreatic juice water, and saline, from a body cavity of a subject. In the method, a tool is inserted through the body cavity to reach a target site in the body cavity. A body position of the subject is adjusted such that the wall surface of the body cavity including the target site intersects with a direction of gravitational force and the liquid present in the body cavity gathers on the wall surface intersecting with the direction of gravitational force. A recess is formed to be concaved on the wall surface in the direction of the gravitational force by making the tool press the wall surface of the body cavity. Therefore, the liquid present or discharged in the body cavity is accumulated in the recess. The liquid accumulated in the recess is taken out of the body of the subject.

摘要: A medical instrument performs at least one of suture and ligation to form a suitable knot in a piece of suture within a body cavity. This medical instrument includes a suture having a first end portion, a second end portion, and at least one loop formed in advance at an intermediate portion between the first and second end portions to have a predetermined size, and a suture suitable for application to a body tissue, and a cylindrical body for holding the loop to almost maintain the size thereof. The body has a fastening portion for fastening at least one portion of the suture. The medical instrument further includes an inserting instrument which is to be inserted into the body cavity, which has a distal end portion that can be arranged in the body cavity, and an operating portion, arranged outside the body, for operating the distal end portion thereof, and on which a holding member having the suture wound thereon is mounted. The distal end portion of the inserting instrument projects beyond the loop held by the holding member, and has a gripping member capable of gripping the suture. This inserting instrument causes the first end portion of the suture gripped near an insertion port to the body cavity and in the body cavity to pass through the loop, thereby forming a knot.

摘要: A tissue fastener production method of clamping two living tissues together by bringing the two living tissues into close contact includes the following steps: fixing one end of a wire material made of a metal to a shaft body, and winding the wire material around an outer periphery of the shaft body while twisting the wire material round an axis of the wire material, thereby forming a coil on which a predetermined force is exerted in the winding direction; heat treating the wire material to impart superelasticity thereto; and deforming the wire material to which the superelasticity is imparted in a range in which the wire material is elastically deformable, and reversing the winding direction of the coil in a direction reverse to the winding direction of the coil wound in the step of forming the coil so as to obtain an initial tension corresponding to the predetermined force.

摘要: A lesion identification system for surgical operations has a light marker adapted for placement in the vicinity of a lesion inside an organ of an organism, and a location-identifying device detecting a light emitted from the light marker at an outside of the organ for identifying a location of the lesion. The marker includes a light emitter and an engagement member associated with the emitter to be engageable with a wall of the organ. The engagement member includes a clip. The light emitter emits light with a wavelength in a near-infrared range. The device includes an endoscope comprising an inserter section having an image pickup element picking up a reflected light, involving the light from the light marker, at an outside of the organ, and an image pickup unit allowing the reflected light, picked by the image pickup element, to be generated as an image for display on a monitor.
