摘要: A differential limiter, including: differential mechanism, including: input member, first output member, second output member, and differential gear connecting the above three members so that the above three members differentially rotate; shaft member connected to the first output member and serving as output member of driving force; first cam mechanism including: first cam face on the first output member, and second cam face on the shaft member, the first cam face and second cam face are oppositely connected with each other in axial direction, to cause first axial thrust force and second axial thrust force according to driving torque; and frictional clutch between two of the above three members, and transmitting a differential limit torque. The first axial thrust force of the first output member presses the frictional clutch from first axial end. The second axial thrust force of the shaft member presses the frictional clutch from second axial end.

摘要: A hydrostatic coupling assembly for use in the driveline of a motor vehicle includes a first coupling part (3) and a second coupling part (4); a displacement machine (22) having a first rotor (23) which is eccentrically supported relative to one of the coupling parts (3, 4), and a second rotor (25) which is connected to the other one of the two coupling parts (3, 4). The first rotor (23) and second rotor (25) form displacement chambers (31) for hydraulic fluid thereby creating a pump. An annular chamber (50) communicates with the displacement chambers through first and second connecting channels (34, 35). A sliding sleeve (38) is axially displaceable between an open and closed position in which the outlets of the first and second connecting channels (34, 35) in the annular chamber (50) are open or closed, respectively.

摘要: Drive system torsional vibration resonance while an engine is idling is prevented. An input clutch pack is connected to a rotating drive plate connected to the engine. The input clutch pack is formed from a drive side comprising an input drum, metal plates, and a retaining plate and from a driven side comprising an input clutch hub and facing plates. When the input clutch pack is disengaged, the inertial mass on the engine side with the engine serving as the vibration source, the coil spring, and the inertial mass on the drive side form a single-degree-of-freedom drive system torsional vibration model. By increasing the thickness in the axial direction of the metal plates, the drive side inertial mass is made to be 50% to 100% of the engine side inertial mass. As a result, drive system torsional vibration resonance during idling is prevented while the weight increase is kept to a minimum.

摘要: A torque transmission coupling includes a rotating shaft and a drive pinion shaft for carrying out input and output transmission of a torque. A torque control part is arranged between the rotating shaft and the drive pinion shaft for controlling torque transmission between the rotating shaft and the drive pinion shaft on the basis of a frictional engagement caused by an electromagnetic force of an electromagnet. At least a portion of the torque control part is arranged in an outer periphery of a taper roller bearing rotatably supporting the drive pinion shaft, thereby allowing a shortening of an entire length of the torque transmission coupling.

摘要: A differential apparatus for a part-time four-wheel drive vehicle is provided. The differential apparatus includes an outer differential casing, an inner differential casing, a clutch member adjacent to the inner differential casing, a pair of dog clutches, a differential gear system arranged in the inner differential casing and an actuator body for actuating the clutch member. One of the dog clutches is connected with the inner differential casing, while the other of the dog clutches is formed on the clutch member. When the vehicle is traveling under two-wheel drive, the inner differential casing and the differential gear system are raced, while the outer differential casing and the clutch member do not race. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the racing loss of these members and the noise caused by the racing loss.

摘要: A variable speed front differential assembly for a vehicle is provided including a first side shaft, a second side shaft, and an input shaft. An offset differential case houses a differential mechanism engaging the first side shaft and the second side shaft. A speed selection assembly is movable from a first speed position to a second speed position. A speed reduction assembly is mounted adjacent the offset differential case. The speed selection assembly directly engages the offset differential case housing when in the first speed position such that a 1:1 drive ratio is achieved. The speed selection assembly engages the offset differential case through the speed reduction assembly when in the second speed position such that an increased drive ratio is achieved.
