摘要： An engine lubricating system includes a lubricating oil supply mechanism having a plunger member adapted to be reciprocated in the axial direction in response to an engine output shaft to discharge lubricating oil, a control pin which is adapted to abut against the plunger member and is movable to change the stroke of the plunger member, thereby changing the discharge rate of the plunger member, and an electric actuator which moves the control pin to change the stroke of the plunger member. The engine operating condition is detected by way of at least both the engine load and the engine speed, and an electrical control unit outputs an electric control signal for controlling the electric actuator to change the discharge rate according to the engine operating condition.

摘要： A control system for an automatic transmission including a main transmission and a subtransmission whose shift operation is carried out by hydraulically. The control system comprises a first device for adjusting a gear ratio advance of the main transmission, the gear ratio advance corresponding to a gear ratio change during the shift operation, a second device for adjusting a gear ratio advance of the subtransmission, the gear ratio advance corresponding to a gear ratio change during the shift operation, and a device for controlling the frist adjusting device and the second adjusting device during concurrent shift operations of the main transmission and the subtransmission so that the gear ratio advances of the main transmission and the subtransmission become equal to respective predetermined target gear ratio advances.

摘要： An intake system for a multiple-cylinder engine a plurality of primary discrete intake passages and a plurality of secondary discrete intake passages. Each pair of primary discrete intake passage and the secondary discrete intake passage communicate with one of the cylinders. Both the primary and secondary discrete intake passages are straight and the primary discrete intake passage is provided with a primary valve member which is provided with an opening and is selectively positioned in a closed position where the primary valve member limits the effective cross-sectional area of the primary discrete intake passage to the cross-sectional area of the opening and in an open position where the primary valve member wide opens the primary intake passage. The secondary discrete intake passage is provided with a secondary valve member which is moved between a closed position where it substantially closes the secondary discrete intake passage and an open position where it wide opens the secondary discrete intake passage.
