摘要: A system for producing photographic prints includes a digital camera, having a memory configured for storing images, and a stand-alone printer. The printer includes a docking port and control devices. The docking port is configured to mechanically receive the digital camera. The control devices are configured to allow selection of an image from the memory of the digital camera, and to initiate printing thereof by the printer. The system and method allow a user to deliver an image captured by the digital camera, either as a hard-copy print or as an electronic file, using controls of the printer device.

摘要: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for operating on database queries. One example method includes identifying a parameterized input query in a first database query language. The parameterized input query includes one or more parameter placeholders. A random value is generated, for each parameter placeholder. A concrete instance of the parameterized input query in the first database query language is constructed. The concrete instance of the parameterized input query replaces each parameter placeholder with the corresponding generated random value. A translated output query in a second database query language is generated, from the concrete instance of the parameterized input query. The translated output query includes the generated random values. Each of the generated random values are replaced within the translated output query in the second database query language with a placeholder value associated with the second database query language.

摘要: A brachytherapy device for treating tissue within a cavity of a body. The device may include a first set of tubes configured to be inserted into the cavity through an opening at the surface of the body. Each of the tubes may have an external end and an interior channel beginning at the external end that is configured to receive radioactive material. The external ends of the tubes may be bundled together. The tubes may be of a length that causes the external ends to be near the opening in the surface of the body while the tubes are in the cavity. A seal may be configured to prevent fluid that originates from the cavity from entering into the external ends of the tubes while they are near the opening in the surface of the body. The seal may include a gasket that is pressed against the external ends of the tubes. The gasket may have openings that align with channels within the external ends of the tubes.

摘要: The present invention discloses a device and method pertaining to battery construction. In the preferred embodiment, the shape and construction of the battery is designed to maximize energy density and efficiency, while minimizing volume and related restrictions. Furthermore, the efficient, simplified internal construction of the present invention, using readily available tubes, pins and spacers, renders it safe and reliable for medical applications, and lends to relative ease and cost effectiveness in manufacturing. The utilization of a neutral case further adds to the safety and reliability of the present invention. Also, the strategic positioning of the electrolyte fill hole allows for quick filling. A related battery construction tool and method are also disclosed adding to the overall usefulness and efficiency of the present invention.

摘要: A drug delivery device is provided for coupling a first container including a beneficial agent to a second member. In an embodiment, the device includes a substantially hollow member having a cannula mounted within a wall that divides the substantially hollow member into a first and second section. The first section includes means for receiving at least a portion of a first container. The substantially hollow member includes a wall that defines an exterior of the first section that is substantially flexible. A number of different cannula and flow path structures within the hollow member are possible pursuant to the present invention.
