摘要: The invention relates to a system for determining the gear selection utilizing a selection lever in an automatic transmission having at least two units (10, 12) for detecting the selection lever position (14, 16, 18, 20, 22). Each unit (10, 12) generates a signal corresponding to the detected selection lever position (14, 16, 18, 20, 22). The system also has a device for evaluating the signals. Based on the signals, the gear selection can be determined while considering plausibility rules. The invention relates further to a method for determining the gear selection utilizing a selection lever in an automatic transmission.

摘要: The invention concerns a method and a drive arrangement for controlling an internal combustion engine, said internal combustion engine acting via a variable transmission, particularly a continuously variable transmission, on drivable wheels or the like of a motor vehicle, in which a fuel feed to the internal combustion engine is at least reduced in dependence on an operating state and the internal combustion engine operates in overrun mode and a gear ratio of the transmission is adjusted, independently of driver intention, in dependence on at last one operating parameter of the motor vehicle. It is provided that during overrun operation of the internal combustion engine (12), the gear ratio is controlled in such a way as to maximize the time interval for which the internal combustion engine (12) operates in the overrun operating state.

摘要: The invention proceeds from a system for adjusting the tension of a belt part (for example, a band) of a belt transmission mounted downstream of a vehicle engine. The belt transmission preferably is continuously adjustable with respect to its transmission ratio. A first means is provided for controlling (open loop and/or closed loop) the vehicle engine and a second means is provided for controlling (open loop and/or closed loop) the belt transmission. Here, a first signal is determined by the first means and this signal represents the engine torque of the vehicle engine and this signal is supplied by the first means to the second means. The tension is adjusted by the second means in dependence upon the first signal and a safety reserve. The essence of the invention is that the safety reserve is not fixedly pregiven; instead, it is determined in dependence upon various conditions. In this way, one achieves a reduction of the reserve pressure of the belt tensioning control and thereby reaches a better operating efficiency of the transmission and therefore a reduced fuel consumption.

摘要: The invention relates to a control circuit for generating a control signal (I) for controlling the transmission ratio adjustment of a belt transmission continuously adjustable with respect to its transmission ratio. The belt transmission includes a drive end (7), an output end (8) and a primary valve (15) for adjusting the transmission ratio. The primary valve (15) is driven by the control signal (I). The control circuit includes means for generating the control signal (I) in dependence upon operating parameters of the vehicle transmitted to the control circuit. It is suggested that the control signal (I) is generated in dependence upon a value (y) for a desired speed of the transmission ratio change or from a quantity derived therefrom. The value (y) for the desired speed of the transmission ratio change is determined from the operating parameters transmitted to the control circuit.

摘要: The invention proceeds from an arrangement or a method for adjusting the transmission ratio of a continuously variable belt transmission having a drive end and an output end. The drive end and the output end have at least one axially displaceable element which has essentially the form of a conical disc. Via sensor means, an rpm signal is detected, which represents the rotational movement of the drive end or the output end, and, on the other hand, a displacement signal is detected which represents the axial displacement of at least one of the axially displaceable elements. The essence of the invention is that means for adjusting the transmission ratio are provided with the aid of which the adjustment takes place at least in dependence upon the detected displacement signal. An advantage of the invention is that, in this way, the possibility is provided to save one rpm sensor. Furthermore, and as shown in the course of the description in greater detail, the total transmission ratio adjustment is substantially independent of the engine load or of the drive torque acting in the drive train.

摘要: The invention relates to an adjustment of the transmission ratio of a transmission having a primary end and a secondary end. The transmission is continuously variably adjusted with respect to its transmission ratio and is mounted between a vehicle engine and the drive wheels. According to the invention, means are provided by means of which a deceleration state of the vehicle of a pregivable or pregiven extent is determined. The output rpm of the vehicle engine is adjusted or controlled in dependence upon the detected rpm of the primary end in response to the determination of one such deceleration state. With the invention, it can be ensured that the vehicle with a CVT transmission comes to standstill for a transmission ratio close to the start transmission ratio even for especially intense decelerations at low speeds (30 to 60 km/hour). Furthermore, the engine can be fired with fuel in order to increase the volumetric displacement of the hydraulic pump without the problem that the vehicle engine applies power to the wheels which opposes the braking action.

摘要: The invention is directed to a method for controlling the operation of a clutch (19) which coacts with an automatic transmission stage (17). A variator controller (16) is assigned to the automatic transmission stage (17) and a contact-force control (18) is assigned to the clutch (19). Depending upon the detected and classifiable drive situations, first and second torque/contact-force reserves (13, 44) are determined which are supplied to an input quantity ME (22) of the variator controller (16) and to the contact-force control (18) for the clutch (19). The output signals (20, 21) of the variator controller (16) and the contact-force control (18) influence the operation of the automatic transmission stage (17) and the clutch (19).
