    摘要： Novel acetylsalicylic acid derivatives having general formula (I) are provided, in which R.sup.1 is hydrogen or methyl; R.sup.2 is --O-- or --NH--; and W is hydroxy, halogen, lower alkoxy, lower alkenyloxy, lower alkynyloxy, cycloalkyloxy, aryloxy, aralkyloxy, acyloxy, or --N(R.sup.3)(R.sup.4) wherein the lower alkoxy, the lower alkenyloxy, the lower alkynyloxy, the cycloalkyloxy, the aryloxy, the aralkyloxy, and the acyloxy are optionally substituted with hydroxy, carboxyl, lower alkoxy, lower alkyl, halogen, nitro, and amino. The invention also pertains to a polymer made from such derivatives and a medical equipment containing the polymer. The polymer is useful in the prevention of platelet aggregation thereon. ##STR1##

    摘要： An embedded type speaker has the speaker body mounted on a wall by inserting the speaker within a mounting opening within the wall. A grill is detachably mounted in overlying fashion in front of the speaker body with the grill consisting of an annular grill frame having circumferentially spaced sound communicating holes at the peripheral portion and a large central opening therein. A support strip extends transversely across the central opening of the grill frame from one side of the frame to the other. A grill sheet overlies the grill frame to close off the central opening and has the same appearance and is preferably formed of the same material as that overlying the wall surface, facing in the same direction as the speaker. A packing is provided between the peripheral portion of the grill sheet and the periphery of the grill frame and a connecting member couples the center of the grill sheet to the center of the support strip.

    摘要： A silver halide photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, wherein the swelling ratio of the entire hydrophilic colloid layers on the acid polymer-containing layer side of the support of the silver halide photographic material having a hydrophilic colloid layer containing at least one acid polymer (having a carboxyl group-containing monomer unit content of at least 15 mol % or an acid value of at least 1.5 meq/g) on at least one silver halide emulsion layer-coated side thereof is at least 200% in distilled water, said acid polymer being dissolved in water and added to said hydrophilic colloid layer, and the swollen thickness of the above entire hydrophilic colloid layers at the time of the completion of the rinsing stage is not more than 8 .mu.m when said silver halide photographic material is processed (the swelling ratio in distilled water is a value obtained by incubating the photographic material at 40.degree. C. and 60% RH (percent relative humidity) for 16 hours, immersing it in distilled water at 21.degree. C. for 3 minutes and measuring the change of the thickness thereof).
