The drying unit (20) heats and dries the web (W) with a heater block (22), to thereby stabilize the water-content of the web (W) in an absolute dry region which is a lower water-content region as compared with a normal water-content region.

    摘要: Provided is an ozone water production apparatus capable of easily continuously obtaining ozone water having a high concentration by a water electrolytic process using a noble metal electrode which has been considered to have a low ozone generation efficiency without using a lead compound. An ozone water production apparatus in which an anode electrode and a cathode electrode to which a DC voltage is applied are put upon one surface and the other surface, respectively, of a solid electrolytic film, and water supplied to the anode electrode side is subjected to electrolysis to obtain ozone water, wherein a wire net made of noble metal having an ozone generation catalyst function is used as the anode electrode, and a lath net made of corrosion resistant metal is put upon the outer surface side of the anode electrode, the anode electrode and the lath net being sealed into a jacket having a water inlet on one end and an ozone water outlet on the other end thereof.

    摘要: Before starting printing and/or after finishing printing, a preliminary ejection of ink is performed for a cap, which covers a recording head, until the cap is almost filled (S17, S23, S38). Then, a sucking operation (S18, S24, S39) is performed to suck ink stored in the cap. Alternatively, based on a predetermined criterion such as the accumulated number of printed dots, the number of printed pages, or a print time (S71, S72), a first print operation (S73), which preliminarily ejects a predetermined amount of ink at least before starting printing or after printing, and a second print operation (S74), which preliminarily ejects more ink than the predetermined amount at least before starting printing or after printing, are alternately performed. This prevents ink from adhering to a restoring system of an ink-jet recorder and allows the sucking operation and the preliminary ejection operation to be performed smoothly.

    摘要: An ICP analyzer has a nebulizer for nebulizing a sample fluid for the purpose of analyzing microscopic impurities within the sample fluid, a plasma torch for introducing nebulized spray into a plasma, and a spray chamber disposed between the nebulizer and the plasma torch for separating spray comprised of microscopic particles from the nebulized spray prior to introduction thereof into the plasma torch. A heating section is provided at a central portion of the spray chamber and a cooling section is provided at a peripheral section of the spray chamber, and the spray is passed between the heating section and the cooling section to improve the efficiency sample introduction into the plasma to enable highly sensitive analysis by suppressing the proportion of a solvent component that reaches the plasma torch.
