摘要: The present invention teaches a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a three-dimensional object having a smooth outer surface, without any step of removing a surface layer each time a sintered layer is formed so as to manufacture a three-dimensional object consisting of integrally built-up sintered layers. The method may include the steps of: (i) supplying powder particles (10) onto a moving area while heating the powder particles (10) with heat (20) from a high-density energy heat source so as to form a sintered layer (16); and (ii) supplying powder particles 10 onto a moving area on the sintered layer while heating the powder particles (10) with heat (20) from the high-density energy heat source so as to form another sintered layer (18) integrally on the sintered layer (16), wherein the step (ii) is repeated a predetermined number of times.

摘要: A ladder circuit editing system inputs and edits a sequence program for a program controller in the form of a ladder diagram. The ladder circuit editing system has an unavailable area storing at least one inputted circuit pattern and an available area storing a new circuit pattern, and successively inputs circuit patterns from the available area. The ladder circuit editing system includes a circuit pattern extracting means, a display means, and a copying means. The circuit pattern extracting means compares a circuit element from a circuit pattern stored in the available area with a circuit element from a circuit pattern already stored in the unavailable area, and extracts a circuit pattern containing a circuit element that agrees with a stored one. The display means displays the extracted circuit pattern on an input screen. The copying means copies the extracted circuit pattern into the available area according to an operator's entry.

摘要: In conventional white balance adjustment, the processing is switched at the boundary of a threshold. When white balance adjustment is done for two regions having values near the threshold and similar color tones, their impressions become greatly different from each other. To prevent this, this invention calculates a white balance adjustment coefficient for each color component forming color image data, corrects the adjustment coefficient so as to be consecutive for each value of the color image data, and performs white balance adjustment based on the corrected adjustment coefficient. In performing a plurality of types of correction processes for image data, it is difficult to execute an optimal combination of correction processes in accordance with an input device. This invention specifies the characteristics of the input device, and controls a combination of correction processes with respect to the image data on the basis of the characteristics, thereby realizing proper correction based on the input device characteristics.

摘要: p-Hydroxyphenylglycine..alpha.-phenylethanesulfonate which is useful for the production of optically active p-hydroxyphenylglycine and optically active .alpha.-phenylethanesulfonic acid is disclosed. p-Hydroxyphenylglycine..alpha.-phenylethanesulfonate is produced by either reacting DL-p-hydroxyphenylglycine with optically active .alpha.-phenylethanesulfonic acid or reacting (.+-.)-.alpha.-phentylethanesulfonic acid with optically active p-hydroxyphenylglycine to form two diastereomers of DL-p-hydroxyphenylglycine optically active .alpha.-phenylethanesulfonate or optically active p-hydroxyphenylglycine (.+-.)-.alpha.-phenylethanesulfonate, and isolating one diastereomer according to the difference between solubilities of the diastereomers, optionally, combining selective crystallization of one diastereomer and epimerization of another diastereomer in the case of reaction of DL-p-hydroxyphenylglycine and optically active .alpha.-phenylethanesulfonic acid. This reaction is utilized in the resolution of p-hydroxyphenylglycine or .alpha.-phenylethanesulfonic acid by deacidifying the resulting diastereomer.

摘要: A rotor for use in an induction type a.c. generator and a method for fabricating the same are disclosed. The rotor comprises pole pieces having pointed ends at their peripheries, the pointed ends of one pole piece and the pointed ends of the other pole piece alternating in position and serving as, alternately, north and south magnetic poles; a core or yoke disposed between the pole pieces to magnetically coupling the pole pieces; an insulating bobbin disposed on the core or yoke and between the pole pieces; and an exciting coil wound on the bobbin cylindrically. The core or yoke is in the shape of a barrel and the insulating bobbin is forcibly mounted on the barrel-shaped core by the application of pressure.
