    摘要: Novel modified lithium aluminum hydride type reducing agents obtained by reacting one equivalent of lithium aluminum hydride with one equivalent of an optically active N-substituted ephedrine of the formula, ##STR1## (wherein R.sub.1 is a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl group or benzyl group, and Ph is phenyl group)and two equivalents of an N-substituted aniline of the formula, ##STR2## (wherein R.sub.2 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl group or phenyl group, and Ph is phenyl group).This reducing agent is usable for reducing the organic compounds having a carbonyl group (ketone group or aldehyde group) in their structure into the corresponding alcohols. It is particularly useful as a reducing agent for asymmetrically reducing the unsymmetrical ketones to selectively produce either an alcohol in which the asymmetric carbon atom bonded to the hydroxy group is in R-configuration or an alcohol in which said asymmetric carbon atom is in S-configuration.

    摘要: In an automotive vehicle in which an air duct which forms an air guide passage for guiding air that has flowed into an engine compartment to an induction system of an internal combustion engine is provided integrally on an inner surface of a bonnet, a reduction in size and weight of the air duct and a compact disposition of the air duct within the engine compartment are attempted to be realized.An automotive vehicle includes an internal combustion engine 20 which is disposed within an engine compartment and an air duct 40 which is provided integrally on an inner surface of a bonnet 10. The air duct 40 forms an air guide passage 60 for guiding air that has flowed into the engine compartment to an induction system 20i of the internal combustion engine 20 between itself and a bonnet portion 30 which constitutes part of the bonnet 10 in cooperation with the bonnet portion 30. Because of this, the air duct 40 is a duct having an open section in which an edge portion 44 which is brought into abutment with the bonnet portion 30 in such a state that the air duct 40 is attached in place forms an opening along the air guide passage 60.

    摘要: Provided are: tofu-like food and soy milk containing fibrous material, each of which has good texture and flavor and enables simultaneous intake of almost all of nutritional components in soybeans, such as proteins, lipids, glucides, fibrous material, minerals, vitamin components, and isoflavone compounds. Also provided is a process for producing soy milk containing fibrous material, which comprises the steps of: (A) dissolving and dispersing dehulled soybean powdery material having a nitrogen solubility index of 75 to 90, a lipoxygenase value of 30 to 120, an n-hexanal content of 0.5 ppm to 2 ppm, and a peroxide value of 0.2 meq/kg to 3.0 meq/kg in water to obtain dispersion; (B) subjecting the dispersion to heat treatment at 120° C. to 160° C. for 1 to 600 seconds; and (C) after the step (B), cooling the dispersion to 100° C. or lower and subjecting the resultant dispersion to emulsification and dispersion treatment under a pressure of 25 MPa to 200 MPa to produce soy milk containing fibrous material.
