    摘要: The present invention relates to an engine control device adapted to determine a basic fuel feed rate (Tp) in response to signals from a suction air flow rate sensor (20) and an air-fuel ratio sensor (20), and thereafter a fuel feed rate (Ti). According to the present invention, suction air flow rates (Q.sub.An-1, Q.sub.An-2) are calculated first on the basis of the last and the next to last fuel feed rates (Tin-1, Tin-2). The coefficients (A, B) required to correct the properties of the suction air flow rate sensor (20) are computed on the basis of these suction air flow rates. In the present invention, a fuel feed rate is determined finally on the basis of these coefficients.

    摘要: In an ignition system wherein an ignition timing signal generated in synchronism with the engine rotation is detected by a detecting transistor and a base current of a power transistor adapted to control a primary current of an ignition coil is controlled by the detected ignition timing signal thereby to generate a high voltage across a secondary side of the ignition coil; the primary current of the ignition coil is controlled by the power transistor not to exceed a predetermined value, a time interval during which the primary current of the ignition coil is restricted to the predetermined value is detected by a change in collector voltage of the power transistor, i.e. an output thereof, and a conduction starting point for the primary current of ignition coil is controlled by the output of the power transistor.

    摘要: An ignition timing control system for an engine provides a counter-measure for an abnormal condition of a signal. The ignition timing control system has a first signal generator for generating a first signal at intervals of a predetermined crank angle while an engine is rotated n times (n is an arbitrary positive number), this first signal including a marked signal designating a particular cylinder each time the engine is rotated n times; a second signal generator for generating a second signal having pulses in a number equal to that of all cylinders of the engine at intervals of substantially an equal crank angle in synchronism with the first signal, this second signal including a signal of a form which is distinguishable from other second signal and which occurs in synchronism with the marked signal; a unit for producing an ignition signal in response to the first signal; a distributor for receiving the ignition signal and distributing the ignition signal in response to the marked signal of the first signal to each cylinder in a predetermined ignition order; a unit for detecting an abnormal condition of the first signal; and a unit for distributing the ignition signal to each cylinder in a predetermined ignition order in response to the signal synchronized with the marked signal of the second signal in place of the marked signal when the abnormal condition of the first signal is detected.

    摘要: To improve an anti-heat shock performance and an electric field concentration relaxation (an insulation performance) between a secondary coil and a center core, to attain a narrow diameter structure in an individual ignition type ignition coil and further to improve an assembling working of the ignition coil. The individual ignition type ignition coil is adopted to an engine having a plastic head cover. A secondary coil 3 is positioned at an inner side of a primary coil 5 and between a secondary bobbin 2 and a center core 1 a soft epoxy resin 17 is filled up. In the secondary bobbin 2, a secondary coil low voltage side is a potting side of the soft epoxy resin 17 and an inclination having a difference in an inner diameter is provided on the inner diameter in which the secondary coil low voltage side is formed large and secondary coil high voltage side is formed small. In the secondary bobbin, a thickness in the secondary coil low voltage side is formed thin and a thickness in the secondary coil high voltage side is formed thick. The soft epoxy resin 17 has a dent 17′ according to a compression molding and has a glass transition point Tg which satisfies a condition of [an allowable stress of the secondary bobbin > a generation stress at (from −40° C. to a glass transition point of an insulation resin)]. The secondary bobbin is formed by PPS and the primary bobbin is set to the primary coil at outer side of the secondary assembling body and under an assembling condition the winding is carried out.

    摘要: An ignition apparatus for an internal combustion engine has an arrangement comprising a power part and a control part which are accumulated in a one-chip in an IGBT monolithic silicon substrate. The control circuit part has current limiting function of prevent the flowing of any current which is above a predetermined value as well as function of detecting malfunction heat generation by which a primary electric current is blocked compulsorily. The secondary voltage of an ignition coil is generated repeatedly below a plug discharge voltage so as not to generate spark discharge in the sparking plug when the electric current compulsory blocking is carried out, and energy charged in the ignition coil is emitted or discharged. With this arrangement, the one-chip ignition apparatus with high reliability can be achieved.

A one-chip igniter with high operative stability and high reliability can be provided.

    摘要: An ignition apparatus is received in a plug hole which is formed by a cylinder head and a cylinder head cover of an internal combustion engine. A side core has a slit between two horizontally extending side wall ends. The side core is selected from a laminated sheet structure comprised of two grain oriented silicon steel sheets, each having a slit between two horizontally extending side wall ends, and the plural slits align at substantially the same position. The slit prevents a one-turn short of a magnetic flux of the side core. Thereby a predetermined secondary voltage more than an engine requirement secondary voltage is obtained. An ignitor reception portion has an independent and individual ignitor reception portion and an independent and individual coil reception portion, with the ignitor reception portion and the coil reception portion being combined.
