    摘要: An automatic transmission provided with a combination of a belt drive continuously-variable speed transmission mechanism and a hydraulic control circuit. The belt drive continuously-variable speed transmission mechanism has an input variable-pitch pulley assembly and an output variable-pitch pulley assembly. The hydraulic control circuit includes a regulator valve, a throttle pressure valve, a reduction ratio detecting valve, a reduction ratio control valve and a reduction ratio control mechanism. The reduction ratio control valve has an axially slidable spool and two pressure chambers formed in the valve body thereof at both axial ends of the spool respectively. The reduction ratio control mechanism includes conduits for conducting the working fluid of a throttle pressure to the pressure chambers of the reduction ratio control valve and two solenoid valves adapted to drain the corresponding pressure chambers, respectively, when actuated.

    摘要: Pressure regulating system for use in an automatic transmission including a fluid coupling, a belt drive continuously-variable speed transmission mechanism having an input pulley and an output pulley which are rotatably interlocked with a V-belt and a reduction ratio control system for controlling the reduction ratio of the belt drive continuously-variable speed transmission mechanism. The pressure regulating system includes a regulator valve capable of regulating the discharge pressure of an oil pump to provide a line pressure, a reduction ratio detecting valve and a throttle pressure valve. The reduction ratio detecting valve receives the line pressure and provides a pressure which is proportional to the displacement of the movable flange of the output pulley with respect to the corresponding fixed flange. The throttle pressure valve receives the line pressure and provides a first throttle pressure which is proportional to the degree of throttle opening of an internal-combustion engine and receives the reduction ratio pressure and provides the same reduction ratio pressure as a second throttle pressure only when the degree of throttle opening exceeds a predetermined value. The regulator valve receives the reduction ratio pressure, the first throttle pressure and the second throttle pressure to regulate the line pressure.

    摘要: Disclosed is a communicatory navigation system including an information center (150), at least one navigation unit (100) each mounted on a vehicle and communication means for allowing bi-directional data communication between the information center and the navigation unit. Data transmission from the navigation unit to the information center is made during a period of communication that begins when the navigation unit become communicatable with the information center and ends when the bi-directional data communication therebetween is disconnected. The navigation unit is provided with a drive route history memory area (131) and an instrument operation history memory area (132), and data in these memory areas are transmitted to the information center, together with the vehicle current position data and the destination position data. The information center determines a recommended drive route from the current position to the destination, not only with reference to its own database (158) but also taking into consideration the history data. For example, if it is determined that there is a traffic accident or heavy traffic jam in some route, a bypass route is determined and transmitted back to the navigation unit. When the previous drive route indicated by data in area (131) is not found in the database (158), it can be recognized as a newly constructed road for inclusion in the database.

When the voice control section 30 switches a signal to the loudspeaker 34a, a mute circuit 40a is operated to mute the voice output before the voice is output through the loudspeaker 34a. When the user terminates volume adjustment, the voice control section 30 outputs a voice for volume confirmation or check at the adjusted volume through the loudspeaker 34a.     摘要: In a navigation apparatus for setting a route from a designated departure point to a destination and providing guidance along the route, there are provided, as map data used in route exploration, node data [FIG. 15(b)] comprising position information and information relating to the attributes thereof, intersection data [FIGS. 2-5(b), FIG. 15(b)] comprising information relating to intersections, and road data [FIGS. 2-5(a), FIG. 15(c)] comprising information related to roads. Information such as roads between intersections and intersections which are the starting and end points of roads are obtained from the intersection data and road data, and an optimum route is retrieved by comparing routes. The map data is put into the form of a layered structure, as shown in FIG. 1, a branch road network is developed in an upper-layer (2) connected to a trunk road network with respect to a higher-order layer (1) of the trunk road network, block division is performed, and exploration from a lower-order layer to intersections connected to a road network of the higher-order layer is successively repeated. The foregoing makes it possible to perform processing upon limiting the range of exploration, and to raise the speed of exploration processing. In addition, the work area needed for exploration can be reduced and storage data can be conserved.
