摘要: A rubber member conveying device and a rubber member supplying system having the same are provided. The device and the system rapidly promote the shrinkage of the rubber member, thereby avoiding the length variation of the rubber member in the processing step for the rubber member. A rubber member supplying system 10 comprises a belt conveyor 14 which supplies a to-be-cut material 12 having an internal strain, a cutter 16 which cuts the to-be-cut material 12 supplied by the belt conveyor 14 to form a rubber member 20, and a rubber member conveying part 24 which conveys the rubber members 20. The rubber member conveying part 24 comprises an endless belt 26, and rollers 28 supported by supporting parts 30 that are provided at the endless belt 26. The rubber member 20 is conveyed on the rollers 28 while exposed to vibrations. Accordingly, the shrinkage in the rubber member 20 caused by the internal strain thereof is substantially completed in the conveying operation.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a fixing unit having a heat source, a temperature detecting unit for detecting a temperature of the fixing unit, an initial operation necessity detecting unit for determining whether an initial operation should be performed in the image forming apparatus, an initial operation selecting control unit for selecting an initial operation from among a plurality of predetermined initial operations based on the temperature detected by the temperature detecting unit when the initial operation necessity detecting unit detects that the initial operation should be performed, and a control unit for controlling the fixing unit so that the fixing unit performs the initial operation selected by the initial operation selecting control unit. Furthermore, a temperature control apparatus includes a determination unit for determining, based on the detected temperature of the body, whether the temperature of the body should be increased or decreased, a temperature increasing control unit for applying an AC voltage from the AC power supply to the heater so that the temperature of the body is increased when the determination unit determines that the temperature of the body should be increased, and a temperature decreasing control unit for applying to the heater a pulse-shaped AC voltage which is repeatedly turned on and off at a frequency so that the temperature of the body is decreased when the determination unit determined that the temperature of the body should be decreased, the frequency being generally not perceived by people.

摘要: An apparatus for transporting an electronic component includes a head for holding the component when the component is picked up from a suitable storage device. The head is movable relative to a base with an imaging apparatus being fixed to the head and allowing position of the component relative to the head to be determined while the component is being transported. A movable optical component is provided on the head which, in one position, contributes to defining an optical path between the component and the imaging apparatus, and in another position, is withdrawn. A further imaging apparatus may be provided, on the base or on the head with the further imaging apparatus detecting the position of large components, if the first imaging apparatus has a narrow filed of view for small components. Alternatively, when the further imaging apparatus is on the head, the imaging apparatus may detect the position to which the component is to be transported.
