A radiation-curable, releasing silicone composition which comprises an organopolysiloxane having methacrylic or acrylic functional groups and represented by the following general formula ##STR1## In the formula, A represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group having a methacrylic or acrylic moiety, R's independently represent an unsubstituted or substituted monovalent organic group, a is an integer of 1, 2 or 3, b is an integer of 2 or 3, and n is an integer of 1 or over. The organopolysiloxane has a viscosity of from 50 to 2,000 cps., at 25.degree. C. The composition exhibits good releasing properties with respect to self-adhesives.

A solventless addition-curable pressure sensitive silicone adhesive composition is provided. The composition comprises (A) an alkenyl group-containing polydiorganosiloxane; (B) a condensation product of (a) a polydiorganosiloxane having hydroxyl group or an alkoxy group on opposite ends of the molecular chain and (b) a polyorganosiloxane containing R13SiO1/2 unit and SiO2 unit as critical components and also a HOSiO3/2 unit in the molecule; (C1) a polyorganohydrosiloxane having at least three SiH groups per molecule; (C2) a polydiorganohydrosiloxane having SiH group on opposite ends; and (D) a platinum group metal catalyst. Use of the present composition enables production of a pressure sensitive adhesive agent having flexibility, pressure sensitive adhesiveness, and heat resistance, and the present composition is particularly effective for use as a buffer member having pressure sensitive adhesiveness.

A layer made of a photosensitive material containing a powder having a specific electric characteristic is formed on a light transmissive base member. A mask having a plurality of patterns with different transmittances for ultraviolet light is disposed on the back side of the base member. The photosensitive material is subjected to an exposure process in which it is irradiated with ultraviolet light or the like through the mask. The photosensitive material is subjected to development process after the exposure process.

The invention provides a high-sensitivity ultraviolet-curable organopolysiloxane composition suitable for use as a surface-release treatment of various substrate such as release-paper sheets and the like. The composition comprises, as the essential ingredients, (a) an organopolysiloxane having a viscosity in the range from 50 to 3000 centipoise at 25.degree. C. and containing, in a molecule, at least one (meth)acryloxy-substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group or at least one epoxy- or glycidyloxy-substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, and (b) a sulfonate compound such as 2-hydroxy-3-oxy-2,3-diphenylpropyl methanesulfonate as the photopolymerization initiator. The sensitivity of the composition to photopolymerization can be further increased by the addition of a specific salt such as sodium hexafluoroantimonate and sodium hexafluorophosphate.

This invention relates to a silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive composition including: (A) a polydiorganosiloxane composed of a linear polydiorganosiloxane (A1) having two or more alkenyl groups within each molecule and a linear polydiorganosiloxane (A2) having SiOH groups at terminals thereof and no alkenyl groups, which is represented by the formula R22(HO)SiO—(R22SiO)d—SiR22(OH), wherein d represents an integer satisfying 500≦d≦20,000; (B) a polyorganosiloxane including R33SiO1/2 units, SiO2 units and Si atom-bonded hydroxyl group-containing units; (C) a polyorganohydrogensiloxane having three or more SiH groups within each molecule; (D) a reaction retarder; (E) a platinum group metal-based catalyst; and (F) a metal compound represented by formula MYx, wherein the polyorganosiloxane (B) is condensed with the linear polydiorganosiloxane (A2). The composition exhibits powerful adhesive strength to silicone rubbers and is useful for, by example, producing a pressure-sensitive tape.

Specifically, an electrode portion is formed on a surface of a transparent base member, and a photosensitive slurry containing dielectric powder is applied thereon. Thus, a ceramic green sheet is obtained.

The composition enables the prevention of problems caused by residual or volatilized organic substances, such as the absorption of ultraviolet radiation or the like, and also enables ready removal of the composition without deforming or damaging the adherend.
